I think they got a super team in Philly
Lots of big name players to score but only one 🏀to go around, it will take a few games for them to gel going but I think they got a potential contender

it sure appears that way. i wonder what the +/- will be for games played by Embiid this season? 25 1/2 i bet! guy is a fantastic player but made of glass. I guarantee that 42 year old Lebron will play in more games than Joel will.

If Ebiid stays healthy he is still very good, Lebron is solid and will be a great option to rotate in or start over a guy who needs rest
LeBron can still play at a very solid level, being honest I would have been fine if he joined the Celtics
I think the age thing is becoming less of an issue in this modern age, 40 years old just isn't all that old anymore
At 40 I was still at an elite strength and conditioning level amongst most guys in my type of circle and I was a nobody banging around on cement and steel in a prison not grass, turf and courts.
Athletes take abuse but with modern training and nutrition they are lasting a lot longer than ever before
Why do people seem to either love LeBron or hate LeBron and why can't I be bothered to care? I'm guessing that most of the hate would come from people because of his political messaging. From what I could find there are 3 primary incidents but the primary causes are his negative comments about trump and his BLM and Voting rights advocacy. I'm 100% ready to be convinced that he's cringeworthy.
I'm not a twolves fan, but if he would have signed here I would be going to some games.
If LeBron avoids serious injury and continues to maintain his fitness I could easily see him playing at a high level for another 4/5 years. Heck he could probably play in the NBA until he is 50.
Hate? Must be cause he's kinda snobby, but the guy is cuddles and cakes to so many people, you can't not like him. He has a good personality that all the TV folks love and the NBA execs will be very, VERY sad to see their cash cow go when he finally does decide to retire. The "Love" as I've always perceived it, began with his highly sought after and valued rookie cards and extended from there. In other words, he's bank.

One thing for sure, he will sell tickets for the Sixers, win or lose. I'm sure that idea didn't slip past the Sixers front office.
I don’t care about anyone’s politics, the only politician I ever liked was Reagan. As far as LeBron, I don’t watch him anymore but in his younger days this was him getting the ball and going to the basket and never getting called for charging.

He is the Messi of the NBA but the “shut up and dribble” would be the wrong message. I get what you’re trying to say. You’re an athlete with a global platform so who are you to speak out on social issues. Leave that to the politicians who have decades of experience dealing with the issues that we all deal with on a daily basis. That and because he’s a Black athlete you can’t say that right now because it has racial undertones. Laura Ingraham said that same thing and she got a lot of heat for it. So you have to be careful even if you question his authority on a social issues to keep up with the ever changing rules.
I just think those are two different messages. Right?
it doesnt matter to me what color he is, i dont care what he has to say about anything other than basketball. in the same vein, i dont care what tom brady has to say about anything other than football. stay in your lane. when i tune into sports broadcasting, i want an escape from real world issues, not a sermon about social justice. same goes for actors and musicians.

I was just telling you about what the feedback was when someone else said the same thing. I don’t know what his messages which you found offensive were regardless. He seems to have a record of doing a lot for his community of Akron so I wonder when I hear remarks about him using his platform.
