PCGS Submissions and Customer Service Issues

oldabeintxoldabeintx Posts: 3,150 ✭✭✭✭✭

I haven’t submitted anything for some time but am a member of the “club”. When attempting to submit the website takes me to membership options. Since it has been a while I thought perhaps I needed to rejoin, so I selected the Silver option. I got a pop-up telling me I was already a member. No way to proceed past the membership screen.

So I tried to contact CS. The callback queue was full, so I was told to call tomorrow morning. All this at 10AM PST. BTW I first tried the email contact thingy but the categories weren’t even close to describing my problem and no “other” category.

If anyone has a clue how I might get around their amazingly poor process and CS it would be much appreciated. I’ve been reading about various shortcomings on this forum. Really astounding lack of intelligent navigation design and service.

I thought is very easy, all you need is log in and then go to submit, it will ask raw or in holder. Then you go from here. If you can tell what is your issue then we might be able to answer more.

I described the problem. I logged in. I clicked on submit raw and it asked me to join as a member. I’m already a member. Could not get past the “join as a member” screen.

Agree, unfortunately these are 18th century world coins. I’m going to submit to NGC as I’m also a member there. My second choice as the NGC holder makes viewing old copper difficult IMO.

Is there a log-in option somewhere that you can try?

Can you log out and try to log in again then try to click submit again?

I was able to log in. The software didn’t recognize me as a member when submitting but did recognize me as a member when I tried to rejoin. (I thought perhaps my membership
    had expired.) I was stuck.

Ok. Go to my account, which should show you your account information, then go down to membership, which should show you your membership information. So if you are not an active member, then you can renew from there.

Thanks, I’ll take a look, out of curiosity. I’ve moved on as far as the submission goes.
