Considering only the obverse, are Barber dimes, quarters and half-dollars graded basically the same?

Hypothetically, if someone created an online visual guide on grading Barber dimes, would it automatically be helpful for grading quarters and half-dollars using the obverse images (knowing, of course, the reverses are different) ? Did all three series wear down more or less the same on the obverse?

The portraits fill the area differently and I would suspect this would affect wear patterns to a degree.
