When Ron offered his Medallic Arts press for sale at like $2,800 I called him up chatted about it. I loved that press but it was likely couple tons and 7 foot tall. Balls maybe weight 200 times two. Could be disassembled to put in pick up. I worked up to offer $1200 more including delivery. But it was a come & get it offer. Someone bought it for $2800 or less. At the time he was rehoming all his green paint/restored production equiptment. Later his unrestored stuff, musical instruments, engraving van, some dies... That was before he'd gone public with his health realities.
RIP Ronald Wayne Landis, Joe Rust, & Verne Walrafen.
Verne was keeper of their history & who was also my shopping nemisis when bidding / buying ebay treasures.
Cliff and Verne had a rule that who bid 1st got no competition from the other. I did not play by those rules, but was nice to know they had a gentlemans shopping agreement.
This was back when ebay displayed bidder's handles & email communication between everyone was possible.
Had I never met Ron at 1992 ANA Summer Seminar I would have never wandered into exonumia.

At my productive period I had a single row box hitting my mail box every month. Back when I sent a check, made phone calls. Then I eventually tappered off to no orders for many years. I was satisfied with everything they executed for me. Didn't NEED/WANT anything else. Then I jumped on the Carr Art Fantasy Coins 15 years ago. I am glad I reconnected with Ron over the phone & via facebook. I bought some .999 silver & 24k gold goodies when he relaunched his stored die pair of 1938 FIVE CENTS and of course, errors.
I had several image filled posts on Verne's Scrapbook / his Gallery Mint websites but when he passed in 2012, those bills no longer got paid so it sort of just erroded away.
There were bits and pieces accessible via The Wayback Machine last I looked 2 or 3 years ago.
But the vibrancy, most imagery is now broken links. Alot of Text is disappeared.

I've only used BST a handful of times as I space out looking there.
Plus for sale treads typically get disappeared by sellers so theres no long term information available.

I recently submitted 20 Moonlight Mint items to ANACS (still there). Grading fee $19/coin ($380 total). ANACS return shipping fee $45. My ship-to cost (USPS small flat rate box with insurance) $43.59. Total cost = $469.59, or $23.43 per coin.

All of my DC / Moonlight Mint items are in ANACS holders, except for the ones that do not fit ANACS holders (eg, 1884-CC cancelled dies struck on 50mm planchet, 1921-2021 Peace Dollar Centennial 50mm round).

I was going to do some at the ANA. The form shows $24 now per coin. Easily over $30 per coin now when you include shipping and $35 if you can't drop it off. For the ones I have sold on BST it has been between $15 and $30 to ship per order. They may do a show special but in the past I think you need 10 coins minimum.
