Question about Lincoln Cent Piece

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if you know anything about this piece? It appears to be related to a Lincoln one cent coin. The obverse features Abraham Lincoln’s bust which is inverse, incuse. The legend, date, and word livery do not appear. The reverse is blank.

It appears to possibly be made of zinc but has a plastic-like feel to it. It weighs 3.25 grams and is not magnetic. It is six sided as well. When I drop it on a table it does not clink.

Below You will find the obverse and reverse of the piece.

I don’t think that was ever near a mint.

The cent, which is now gone, was. Lol

Yes, to all the above, probably.
It does appear interesting. That "planchet" is either lead or silver.
Appears silver but is probably lead.

The value of this hobby is the hobby, not the value.
