Between all of the extremely limited mintage offerings it would be one heck of a accomplishment to get every 2026 item offered by the mint
You would end up with some of the rarest coins ever put out and lots of retrikes of the classics in gold

It would be expensive that is for certain, but if you look at proof and mint state versions separately then the First Spouse and modern $5 gold commems would give you lots more contemporary options for lower mintages.

I agree with you to a point (like all of the dual-date and BOM's), but to say "to get every 2026 item offered by the mint", that means we would need to include the Ornaments(if still offered), certain Medals, the Comics, etc,...
Unless you’re only talking about moderns, I don’t think that such a collection would qualify
as including “some of the rarest coins ever put out”.

Once all the coins are issued, based upon the reported (planned) mintages, anyone with the money will be able to buy it in one day, all the time.
Well, probably. But we do have e a mintage of 250 thrown into the mix.

Many of the issues, both semi-quincentennial related and not don't appeal to me.
However, I love the BOM issues and really like the proof set. Coincidentally, those 5 BOM coins, 5 BOM medals, and 10 coins in the silver proof set make a perfect box of 20...which I'm currently assembling with three more issues to go over the next 2 months.
Not cheap but a good happy medium with a bunch of attractive one year or limited types.
