Still, a design that has been done.

You bet! Three in a row to start this series off…..and these three were done only 10 years ago. The final 2 in 1 Oz gold with a silver medal are the only two fresh ideas with this series and seem to be the ones collectors are most excited about.

I would think so. I actually sold my dime last week. I'm going to have to buy the medal, which is the only think I wanted.

Im suspecting the diameter of the last 2 will be similar to the 2009 $20 HR Gold. I dont like the size. Would love to see them do this (at the very least) on a .9999 Buffalo 1oz planchet. Anyone know for sure the diameter of the 1907 HR and 1804 Dollar tributes?

Tiny tributes is my guess. My 1916 24k 25c is very close in diameter to a 5c which coincidentally is very close to my fractional 2008 24K $25 Buffalo/Indian head.

I'll never sell my 2009 Ultra High Relief $20 !

The included hardbound book, cherry wood trunk case...

Well, that is, unless gold hit $20,000 an ounce.

Today the ABPP gets their shot at 4500 of these sets at $2913.75 and have until 7/28 at 3 pm. Initial ATS was 10,240, but is now down to 5740 with the removal of the ABPP offering (26BM3AB) The mintage limit has been set at 30,000 for this one (matching the first two, which are still available, with the second one at 13,042 ATS today and the first at 16)

Still on the fence. Dime is on backorder for September. Quarter is in hand; it's pretty.

That seems to be the consensus. The first three were all done in 2016. I wonder if they continue with 30,000 mintage even on the two one oz gold coins that finish the BOM set?

Since the big boys get first crack at 25% of gold products, guessing the mint plans on 18,000 minimum mintage.

Yeah. Everyone wants that. Until they can't get what THEY want. Then everything is unfair.

Given the way everyone is chomping at the bit for the 1804, it will be crazy if they make any less than 30K, and deny those who have been in all along the opportunity to complete a set without having to pay inflated secondary market prices.

The fact that they kept the mintage constant for the first 3, despite the fact that prices keep rising as the gold coin keeps getting larger, indicates this is exactly what they will do, even at the risk of not having sell outs.

Do you think they could pull off a sell-out of 30,000 ounces here? I suppose it's possible...anything seems to be these days. I was also considering the effects on the silver medals if they lowered the mintage on the final two. That "should" increase the value of those final two medals, but again, you're most likely correct that they plan on 30,000. Ones thing's for certain.....it's not going to be all that much longer until we find out. August is knocking at the door now.

After 90 minutes, the ABPP purchased 602 of their allotment

30K one ounce gold coins is a lot. Can they sell out? Sure, it's special, and anything is possible.

Will they sell out? Hard to predict, given they haven't sold out of any of these yet. 1747 out of 10,000 2026 proof AGEs are presently available for purchase, in addition to another 2097 out of 15,000 in the 4 coin set.

I love the BOM series, and don't understand why everything isn't selling out, so I'm not the best the judge here. They aren't cheap, and gold is no longer climbing, so there's that.

Watching the sales of BOM 1 and BOM 2, I think 30,000 is a stretch. Based on how tough it's been for them to sell out of the 4 coin gold AGE set with half the mintage, it wouldn't surprise if they stated the limits for the remaining 2 at 30,000 and basically minted to demand. They may try that with the BOM 3 based on the ATS numbers seen today (although those are of course subject to change)

They are not selling out the gold because people are tired of the recycled designs. There are people like myself that have no desire for overpriced gold that uses designs already done. I’m not paying or should I say, overpaying for a useless privy mark. I am eagerly awaiting the one ounce versions, especially the 1804. I would bet it sells out within 24 hours even if they make 30k. I am concerned I will not get one because of the mess of a website run by the US Mint.

TBD. Again, 30K is a lot.

How many were there last time, for the FH gold? I think it was short minted, at something like 6K. And gold was something like $2,700 per ounce.

5x the quantity, at a 50% higher price, does not equal auto sell out. Especially when 75% of them will not be spoken for ahead of time by subscription, and the HHL will be 1, not 10. If the buyers clubs will be looking for a 2x flip on a gold coin with a 30K mintage, they will likely be very disappointed.

No. I think they will make them, and I think they will sell. They might even sell out. There just won't be a frenzy

The pro is people love the design, and it hasn't been done before. The con is that it is expensive, and demand has been lukewarm for the rest of the series, at the same mintage and a far lower price point.

They are already "making to demand" to the extent that are taking back orders after a point. But they ARE including all 30K in ATS, and that's all that really matters for something that isn't going to be flipped.

TBD. You might be right about the designs, but they ARE the most popular designs in the history of US coinage. The only caveat here is that 30K is a lot for anything that will be selling for over $5K, as this will be with the medal. The Mint can't sell 2K gold bells at $10K, albeit with half the gold.

That gives the Mint an "out" if they aren't in demand as they expected. Just don't complete the 30,000 limit. The last I looked, we were at around 14,500 in sales on the BM2 with little to no secondary demand. I don't think they got into back-order territory with that one, did they?

On a side note, the APBB took about 1000 of their allotment for BM3 in the first 5 hours of sales. Still 3584 left for them to take (or leave) by the 3pm Tuesday cutoff.
