Backlog for PSA Vault?
Hi, all. Just wondering what the wait time is these days to get something into the PSA vault? I mailed a package to the PSA vault that was received and signed for by them on May 11. My first time sending something to them. It's been three weeks and the cards are still not showing in my inventory. Is there a huge backlog with the vault like there is with grading now?

I'm going on a month now. Used to be a week. I messaged and they said it's overrun and they are trying their best but it's backlogged.
I purchased a vault card and wanted it shipped to me a few months ago and it was a solid 3 weeks before it left the vault. sounds like it is worse now

2-3 million packages go through Memphis sort daily. PSA just doesn’t know how to manage their business.
"Backlogged"
Ugly word to hear anytime regarding anything PSA
Thanks for the responses. I guess I just wait.
Have yours shown up in your inventory yet? It's coming up on two months for me with nothing.
Not sounding good.
Yes...they showed up in inventory and they even shipped and I received.
I currently have two other items I'm waiting for them to list as vaulted for me to withdraw
What good is a vault service if your cards sit outside of the vault for months at a time? Not knowing where your best cards are doesn’t scream ‘secure’ to me.
this. although i imagine most people use this service as a way to circumvent paying taxes

As such it's difficult to muster up any sympathy

Bragging about paying taxes you could avoid is new.
There is another group of people who send in cards to PSA for grading, and then send them to their Vault to store and/or sell. They might save on return shipping, but they aren't circumventing paying taxes.
The delays in securing in the vault are growing, and I agree this is 100% frustrating for anyone using this service. I'm hoping they address this ASAP.
Historically and Currently PSA throttle inbound submissions and increase prices to compensate.
Is there reason to believe they will do any different with their vault? Given they have no viable competition do they even care to have another method in their playbook?
P.S. even Iron Mountain has vault problems and PSA is NO Iron Mountain therefore I do admire the optimism of those who think PSA will improve

Nope. Shipping is the same whether it goes to the vault or to your house.
PSA gets to pocket the money if it goes to the vault.

So they are paying for shipping that takes weeks/months to get to the destination (PSA Vault). That just makes it worse...
