Latest update to the Gold CAC only Mercury Dime set

I will start by saying I understand this set is not for everyone. I like posting it because some of the really neat coins have come from forum members via private sales.
I always seek out nice looking coins. I find it interesting that PCGS slabs dominate the Full Band offerings while NGC does very well in the non-FB category. I like the number of NGC Gen 3.0 holders I have been able to add. I have no preference to holder so I buy them as I can.

Congrats on being able to put as many gold stickered mercury dimes together as you have.
I’ve always been curious as to why there “appears to be” so many undergraded mercury dimes (and for that matter, commemoratives, too) out there.
I’d love to hear any theories as to what happened when these were graded?

I have read that due to the size of the coin, early graders were more strict with the series. I am not sure if that happened with Seated dimes as well. I don't collect that series. For some series it might be hard to tell since more expensive coins were cracked out for upgrades rather than to get a Gold CAC. Merc dimes have always been at the lower end of the pay scale.

It has been a really fun set to work on. I have met a lot of people through sharing these coins. Less than 5 mins after posting this photo I received a message from someone offering me a 42S FB to complete my date run from 1936-1945. I would not have received the message had I not posted the photo.

Wow, you have acquired quite a few new ones since you last shared your Mercury dime Gold CAC collection. Very impressive. Congratulations. I hope you find one of each date that has a Gold CAC.
I personally love to see it. There will always be purists who will never ever ever buy the holder and strictly buy the coin, but everyone should be able to corner their own market and collect what they love.
Congrats on putting together a set you are personally incredibly proud of and love to share with others who love to see collections like this too. We do exist here on the forums despite some comments to the contrary @pcgscacgold!

So far I have not found any that jumped out. It is such a small coin that many don't even look like Proofs. This is keeping me busy enough
