Every time I see 86 Fleer Basketball I remember back in 1986 and seeing boxes of that stuff on the shelves at the Richdale up the street from my house, I bought so much baseball from that store but I wasn't into hoops so I never touched it 😒
Good luck with the MJ hope it's legit
Which Richdale? I know it is just pretty much a Nothern Massachusetts chain when it was owned by West Lynn Creamery. My Dad had a part time gig working for a couple of them. My go to place was either Larry's or Bill's Variety in Salem, Ma.

Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
I remember back in like ‘07 or ‘08 watching a guy on here open up packs he bought every so often and pulling Jordan rookies, he knew the sequencing. I think he was paying $250 a pack, I may be wrong on that. I still am baffled by the value of this card, has to be ump-teen million of them out there.
Coming across one buried in a collection is the only way I'll add one to my collection at this point Too far out of my price range to just go and buy one now.
You've always had a knack for finding super deals on key cards. Didn't you also find the Ripken card in your avatar out in the wild also?

Did not find the Ripken. But this is my 3rd big basketball rookie I’ve found and subbed. Bought a complete 69 set in high grade and got a 8 on the Lew. Also subbed a Kobe Topps rookie that I pulled from a pack that got a 10.

Grats!!
That’s a huge win.. congrats!!
Raw in-the-wild finds are still out there folks.
Only a couple other savvy veterans called it ‘REAL’ on page 1… me being one of them.. congrats to the others who also had it right.
I bought mine Raw in 2025 off a guy from a phone call… along with the other 86f stars. Not as nice as Orioles but it’s legit.

Congrats!
Well done. Congrats!

3000+ PSA-9s….and 333 PSA-10s. I think it is hard to justify the crazy prices for this card at these numbers.

Congrats Evan! I'm glad it turned out to be a legit MJ.
Congrats! That is a solid grade to get these days. Nicely done.
