    Well I’m up $48 on my first day with DK. I lost my Yankees bet but it was free money and I hit the Mariners with free money. For some reason I already have $4 extra from what they call DK bucks.

    Tomorrow the Phillies are -230 moneyline favorite over the Pirates. Cristopher Sanchez is starting and he’s a Cy Young candidate. Don’t know if it’s worth a bet with those odds but I almost definitely will bet the Rays over the Royals.

    Well my nice hot streak with soccer is officially over. Losing two straight penalty kick games. I can read the writing on the wall.

    I'm gonna cool it for a while with soccer, be happy with the nice winnings, and get back to focusing on MLB. With football season not too far away.

    The "DK Bucks" are pretty good but slow earning unless your a heavy hitter

    Phillies playing some good baseball lately after a bit of a dreadful start. For sure, they're right back in the pennant race.

    Schwarber having another great season, currently leading the majors in home runs. I've made some decent coin this season off Schwarber and his homers. Not from betting his HR prop. I don't play HR props, the bookie juice is way too high. But my book has a free to play daily game, pick a player to hit a HR that day, and if he does, you receive an automatic 50% profit boost the next day on any MLB game.

    Had to give it one more try. The dam sirens were too strong.

    Have France now rolling with a 2-0 lead, getting late in the game.

    And already caught my one prop with Mbappe, and a nice 30% profit boost.

    Chit - While I'm typing this, France just scored again. Don't really need it, but what the yell, I'll take it anyway. 😎

    yesterday i said soccer was a different breed, including the gambling aspect

    here's a great example

    half of my bet is tied to 2 goals

    the other half is 2.5

    if 🇲🇽 and 🇪🇨 score fewer than 2 combined, i win it all

    if they score 2, one-half pushes & the other half wins

    if they score 3 or more, 🔥 💰 🔥

    Seems like the best case scenario is either team wins 1-0 in regulation.

    I mean 0-0 wouldn't be bad. However ya never can tell with the OT chit. Could be 0-0 and then in OT a score-fest might occur.

    I hit the White Sox on a bonus bet. And Royals pitching is coming through for me as they have walked 11batters through 7 innings. Easy win betting against them. 🥳

    May have something to do with the software they buy. I've done a small amount of research on this, and if I'm remembering right, there are one or two "major" software suppliers of the data, including live odds movements, etc. Then there are two or three others, perhaps for smaller books that can't afford the other ones. Smaller books may not offer all the other wagers that the top books offer. But could be other reasons as well based on proprietary contracts, etc.

    What I found very interesting in the limited research, is that the odds formulas can include data going back to around 2001. Yes, 25 years ago. Exactly how they do it, of course they're never going to disclose that to the public.

    I saw that DK has entered the "prediction market", or whatever it's called. Would be cool to discuss those betting situations here. However many of them aren't sports related so we will have to refrain. I see one good one in particular that I really like for November, but again, can't mention it here or in a PM, or I'll be behind CU prison bars again. LOL

    Had England in today's opener. Sure took their time to score a dam goal, then thankfully another one shortly thereafter. I certainly did not look forward to OT and possibly those dam penalty kicks. Lot of struggle for a 10% profit win. But like an old wise man at the track who was always broke once told me, stevek remember a win is a win.

    Caught a nice prop, anytime goal, with a boost on Harry Kane. He also scored the winning goal as well. I caught the same prop in his previous game. Harry Kane is now my favorite of all time soccer player. Yell, I might even start collecting Harry Kane soccer cards, and I'm almost not kidding. LOL

    Cashed out on a Yankees bet today at 39% equity. I don't recall a team supposedly this good, having a losing streak this bad, as I think they were a strong favorite in every game. Anybody who Martingaled this, might now be applying for welfare. A good illustration of the inherent dangers of Martingaling.

    Hate to say it, not that I really care that much. But I'd have to imagine that the NY fans who scored big on the Knicks success, have given much of it back, if not more during this brutal Yankees losing streak. The Yankees sucked me in twice as well, but at least I cashed out both times for a smaller loss.

    Have a nice license to print money bonus in the upcoming USA game. The book gives out $5 in bonus bets for each goal scored, which includes both teams.

    Problem is there is a -200 minimum odds. I like USA here but they aren't even close to that, so I can't get the bonus and play the USA to win. I may play an o/u in which I could use the bonus bet. I'm thinking the way to play it, in this particular game, especially since the USA opponent is inferior, is play the under. That way I win the wager and maybe $5 or $10 more. But of course playing the over and if the teams total is 3 goals or more, I win the bet and at least $15 more.

    Very tough call. 🤔

    I got scared and cashed out. Brewers up 4-2 top of 8th, De La Cruz leads off with a single, I cash out because if the next guy homers the cash out goes way down. Next guy hits into double play and they don’t score. Would have paid $116 but I’m happy it’s a good win.

    Thanks Galaxy…. I hope your guy does well. Of course I had not heard of him so I did a search and it sounds like he was amazing in college… Auburn I believe.
    I decided online sports betting has some advantages I couldn’t get at a casino, bonus wagers, profit boosts, cash out, saving on gas money etc.

    Stayed away from everything today. Wrapped up all my work tonight, and knew I had $10 in bonus bets "earned" from that stupid bet yesterday. I took a look at the Dodgers game and decided to place the $10 on that. Well by the top of the second inning, the Dodgers fell behind by 6-0. Geez like did I move to Antarctica or something? That was it for me for the weekend, I'm not betting into a cold streak. But amazingly the Dodgers stormed back to win it 12-7. Can't say I'm not happy about that.

    How can Argentina lose this game on Friday? Tempted to go all-in with the $381.72 but that wouldn't be disciplined. May not even bet the game score even though it looks like a mortal lock. Might play an Argentina player prop or something.

    I picked my guys because they were among the favorites and I had heard of them. Found out when I read a story about Koivun after his round.

    What do you guys think about Mexico beating England Sunday? I heard the England coach say there’s no way his players can adapt to the altitude in Mexico City in time and that they just have to deal with it. I’ll probably make my first World Cup bet for Mexico.

    Koivun had a rough go in his first professional round. he finished T23 last month at the US Open, and here were 4 starts he made in PGA Tour events last year (all as an amateur). need a lowww one from him today just to make the cut.

    your boy Ben Griffin had an insane round yesterday. +4 after his 5th hole, yet ended up -2 on the day. welcome to the world of golf!
