The weight is extremely light and when I tap it it sounds hollow and thin. I'm confused to everything seeing as the weight is super light. It looks like some type of weld has been used maybe

    There is a tiny hole within the legend, in the O in OF. I think it is a gag prank, fill the nickel up with water, and press the brass side, pushing water through the tiny hole and into your victim. The brass side should press in like a button, so it is probably smashed in.

    NOT a magician's coin. B)

    It's a squirting nickel. The flexible copper/brass back that acted as the reservoir looks like it has been collapsed/crushed so it won't work as intended.

    Normally the coin would be submerged in water and the slightly bulged side pressed a few times to fill it. Then you would show the coin to an unsuspecting victim and press the bulge to squirt the water in their face.

    Look inside the "O" of "of" and you'll see a little hole for the water to enter and exit.
