    Like already mentioned, this is a topic that shows up regularly and gets the same rinse, lather and dry cycle. You need to get out more, be it coin shows, social media or other sources and you will see young collectors putting together coin albums and other sets. Quite a few do trading cards as well, but the feedback I've gotten is that they like the feel and the weight of the coins they collect.

    The country of Niue made dollars some 25 years ago with Pokemon on them. I can see Japan doing the same. I can only begin to imagine the fanfare that would happen here, including slogans like "Gotta collect 'em all!"
