Yes actually I did, but I get no where because there is a whole lot of false information out! And to be honest I was seriously debating on coming in here, and ask, because the mayor part of Coin Collectors in here are jerks! They seem to have forgotten that they weren't born with that knowledge for coins! And that they too knew nothing at some point in their life's!

Why did you say in your previous thread that most coin collectors here are jerks?

“Life’s” made me laugh last time too.

Because every time someone new to coin collecting, like me comes here thinking that this would most likely be the place I can get honest answers to my questions, because there is so many coin collectors in here! With so much experience! But what I get instead, make fun of for my unexperience with coins..

When you introduce yourself by saying that most people here are jerks, is that supposed to make us want to help you?

With all due respect, I said MOST! not ALL! My reason fto have expressed it that way, was because maybe, out of 10 collectors, 3 if not less, answer my question and don't make fun of my inexperience! You're taking my comment like if I stated that ALL COIN COLLECTORS are jerks! And it's not like that and in fact the ones that do answer my questions without making fun of me I am grateful and I thank them for answering my question

  • Options

Just to clarify! I didn't introduce my self stating that! This wasn't my first thing said here! That would definitely be so immature and plain dumb of me if I did that!

I didn't see anyone make fun of your inexperience with coins. Your punctuation and grammar, maybe, but not your inexperience.

So you think most people here are jerks but not all. Is that supposed to make us feel better?

It looks like wear to me. But the location is curious.

So it wasn't the very first thing you said. Is that supposed to make us feel better?

Maybe it's me, but I'm still not understanding any part of this. If you tell us that most of us are jerks, how does that make us want to answer your questions?

And if you believe that most of us are jerks, why do you want to ask your questions here? Wouldn't it be better to ask in another group where you don't think most people are jerks?

I apologize for all this! But if you don't mind telling what exactly is it that I have to do when I had a previous account and every post I made asking genuinely questions! Most collectors just answered with some type of joke! Do I just have to take it and that's it!?? I understand your reason for saying about me introducing my self like that and than expecting to my questions get answered! This is a totally new account! But it's not my first time being in here! I deleted my previous account for that same reason!

The more you try to explain, the less I understand. If you really think most people here are jerks, why come back and ask questions here? And if you were really trying to start fresh, why tell us that most of us are jerks? Also, have you read the rules of the Forum? Members here are not allowed to have more than one account... :#

So you came back under a new name after alienating the furum under a different user ID? 🤔

Anyway, a shot of the full reverse would have been nice, but in any case this sort of weakness is common on wheat cents.

Weakness can be due to a grease filled die, a worn die, or a somewhat soft strike.

You know what I apologize for all this! Only I and God know why I keep coming back here! But from today and on you and everyone who reads this will know as well!! I am desperately trying to find a way to make money, to be able to get a safe place for my kids and I! I don't like just going out there and asking for money! That's embarrassing for me! My children and I been living at this place for almost 10 years and now we are getting evicted because the landlord never had the permits to build this unit! I am completely running out of options here! I really don't want my kids to end up on the streets! Am doing all I can to be able to make money with what ever I got! I already understood that this is another dead end!

It's a mint made problem that is common, especially in cents. Not likely to add any value but fun to see. Some are more dramatic than others.

Best of luck to you and your family.

Correct, but you are making progress in realizing that. Put the coins behind you, and you are one step closer to finding a real source of income. Good luck.

The O of ONE is a typical area for weak strike pressure opposite one of the deepest areas of relief on the obverse. Probably something similar going on with AMER which is aligned with Lincoln's head on the opposite side. Curious but not considered an error.

    Sean Reynolds

Incomplete planchets wanted, especially Lincoln Cents & type coins.

With all due respect, searching for error coins to make money is not a good strategy. Your time could be far better spent in other ways.

I hope you can one day return to coins as a hobby and not a get-rich-quick plan.

As with any problem someone is facing, it is important to focus and direct efforts where they will be most effective.

Good luck with your challenges. I believe that answers are out there, but probably not here.

This is a very common strike deficiency in wheat cents.

To me that is caused by a partially grease filled die.
A weak strike would affect the whole coin, especially aroind thecedges.

Not necessarily. As seanq pointed out above, the area on the other side that is opposite a deep design feature (such as the portrait) may be weakly struck due to pressure issues.
