At the ANACS table as well. I've seen things and have stories. I love people who want to learn and I'm happy to help them, but so many don't.
In my brief stint as a coin show dealer in the 90’s I had to disappoint almost every non-collector that came up to my table. Amazing how many people put aside $2.00 bills and have Morgan’s from the slots in Reno. One reason I didn’t stick with it.
Looks like the one to laugh at is the dealer offering 10% of silver value

The dealer is saying "It's worth melt- just melt value", not "It's worth 10% of melt value."

The sign on the counter is not clear. It could be saying that the melt value for a 10% silver coin is $1.60.
In what universe is "It's worth melt- just melt value" understood to mean "10% of the value of the silver it contains"?

The closest I get is a quarter with 10% silver, which is nonsense. But we get the joke.
