How do you feel about pre sales on the 'Bay ?
I see the new silver liberty bell medal for sale from 3K to 5K on the 'Bay...... With only 2026 medals for sale , what makes folks so sure they will receive one ?

I don't know.
Anyway, if you're not sure the eBay seller will receive one, don't buy from his pre-sale listing.
Maybe they are selling some of these to the bulk buyers, they have to sell them to somebody. But even the $750 Mint price seems too high to me. I would rather have $3-5K in bullion ASEs to use as paperweights on my desk, instead and my Koufax and Mantle PSA balls in cubes. They could retire back to safety of my credenza.
Either you have it or you dont is the way I see it 😉
Some are quite successful at getting in on just about every offering. Others are just hoping they get one and can cash in beforehand. If they don’t come thru they can just refund you and say “sorry dude, it didn’t work out”. In addition to that disappointment, they could conceivably lie to you and say they didn’t get one if, let’s say, in hand pricing goes up enough that they feel they sold to you to cheaply.
That said , there are many eBay sellers who offer the presale service to save you the hassle of fighting the crowd on the website for any given release. You’re paying for convenience. Maybe too much, but you’re getting what you wanted more often than not.
