Portugal - Cristiano Ronaldo - anytime goal

Interesting with this Ronaldo. Seems he has been a star player for some years. However has been playing sub-par as of late, and getting a lot of criticism from the media and fans.

I sort of like angles such as this. Something the computer probably isn't going to factor into the odds. I think he may be very motivated to play well in this game on the big stage, especially against an inferior team. He's their lead scorer anyway, and I think his teammates are going to be trying especially hard to feed him the ball.

I liked his "anytime goal" odds anyway, not even factoring in what I just mentioned. If I had any stones, I'd take a flyer and bet him scoring two goals. But I'll probably pass on doing that.

Sure is nice to hit the prop, and basically win the game within the first 20 minutes.

Me starting to like this soccer. 😎

the upcoming game with Turkey is interesting because we have absolutely no competitive incentive to win. there will most likely be positional rotations as a result. tough game to handicap.

My understanding is that Turkey has already been eliminated from winning the World Cup. I may be interpreting something incorrectly, and don't need an explanation, but for sure the books eliminated all futures World Cup winner betting on Turkey.

I only bring it up because in Thursday's game, USA vs Turkey, the odds of USA -105 seem way too suspiciously juicy. Especially because from what I've read, Turkey has never done well in World Cup play anyway.

When the odds seem too good to be true, it too often is. That being said, it doesn't necessarily mean that Turkey is a good bet. To me it means stay away from the game, which is what I plan on doing.

Good luck to anyone who plays the game, and perhaps has it figured out much better than me.

Dam, Ronaldo has two goals already and the half ain't even over. The other guy who I liked to score a goal, has one as well. I could have absolutely killed this game with more props and a parlay. Instead I win bird feed.

The big money was sitting there waiting for me, but I refused to take it. 😒

It's called playing it safe, in the long run your better off 👍🏼

Thanks Perk, and I know you're right. I really shouldn't beach too much because as you stated and I think implied, discipline is the right way to win at this game in the long run.

The disciplined way to play this game, in my view, was play the Portugal ML and the one solid prop. In total, my profit was 65%. I need to keep in mind that if I would have plowed 1k into it, the reward would have been $650. Hopefully those days are coming, but I'm taking it slow for now, learning discipline and good habits. 😊

thought i was going to squeeze out a 2nd draw, but Colombia scored late

i'll gladly take the one i hit and apply the profit to this guy

would have been all sorts of wrong for me not to follow up with X after he won me 500 clams

    top 10 this time

World Cup today - out of four games, eight teams, there were 5 goose eggs, and 2 single goals.

I've never followed the World Cup before. As the dogs with fleas get eliminated, the tougher competition between the good teams may mean lower scoring games. IE defensive battles.

Perhaps that's incorrect with such a small sampling. However I'll have to keep an eye out for that possibility, and adjust the handicapping and props evaluation accordingly.

For example, that 0-0 game, the offensive props got absolutely slaughtered. Frankly I can now better understand why my book was gleefully handing out all the 50% profit boost heroin. Which I had never seen them so readily do before in any other sport. The books must rake in the money beyond belief in this time of the tourney moving forward, from naive props bettors.

I'll stand corrected if my assessment is not accurate in this regard.
