Wow! This medalette is listed at $799! Soley pieces are going up!
Cervera's Spanish Fleet Destroyed off Santiago July 3, 1898
Questions:
- Is this a Soley piece? It came up in an eBay search and has Soley-like denticles.
- Is this a So-Called Dollar? If it's 13mm, I'd say yes as it's gold dollar size and one is listed in H&K.

I'd say yes, so-called dollar. But I dont know if listing this at $800 means that prices are going up. It could just be "pie in the sky" pricing.

Pie in the sky or realistic, the price is going up. Of course, it still needs to sell!
It looks too large for 13mm…maybe 18mm or so. Is this a known George Soley piece?
Good observation. It does look too large to be 13mm from the slab photo.
I'm not sure if it's a known Soley piece, but it came up in a eBay search (fuzzy match?) and has his look and denticles.
