Jackie Robinson - seven signatures over two yearbooks
First time post - hello everyone and apologies if this is the wrong forum.
My wife inherited these a while ago and they have been sat in a drawer until we took a look at them yesterday. They are her grandfather's John Muir Tech yearbooks from 1936 and 1937, during which time he evidently ran track with Jackie Robinson. The yearbooks contain a total of seven signatures (three in one, four in the other), a mixture of plain signatures next to Jackie's picture and a few with more personal messages:
"Best of wishes to a swell dancer and athlete"
"Best of luck to the best distance man at Muir"
"Best of luck to a swell fellow"
Thought some here might appreciate them!!
