Beautiful pieces.
I conducted a talk about So-Called Dollars at my coin club this past weekend. I covered the history of the name and how they came to be catalogued and focused on the pieces surrounding America's World's Fairs and Expositions.
In addition to Hibler & Kappen's work, I also covered the work of Jeff Shevlin & Bill Hyder as well as John Raymond's efforts to catalog the pieces that fit the parameters H&K set but that didn't make into their work. These pieces were part of the discussion.
