Well if you don’t want to buy it, why are you interested if it’s available or not?
Please provide an example of a time the OP had an active listing on the BST that was not available to purchase.

Just a casual observer, here. I don't think there is any "issue", it's just hard to tell if your coins are available or not. They appear listed here on the Forum, then are randomly moved to another site, then abruptly withdrawn, then abruptly reappear at a later date (this cycle may then repeat several times). So, it's hard to tell whether they are available at any given time.
In this particular case, within a few minutes of posting this listing, you posted on another thread that you were leaving town and "will not be available for some time". You also said you weren't even sure if you would ever log in here again. So if people were supposed to PM you here about the coin, as you requested, you wouldn't even see any of their messages. In other words, almost as soon as you posted the coin for sale, it was effectively unavailable, because you weren't here, and people believed you might never be back again.
RedRocket probably saw your other post and was understandably confused; I think it would be nice if you offered him an apology.
It's been the same cycle with this seller for years. Until recently he's always had his profile set to private so you couldn't contact him even if you wanted the coin. Like you said, the coin is here today, gone tomorrow, moved to "sig line" whatever that means or to some other link. Communication is always on and off.. yet others here defend that behavior.. numerous times I've seen folks trying to purchase a coin and simply can't communicate with him. Anyway, I agree with you

I tend to mock that which is difficult to understand.
Your selling method falls under that perception.
