This would normally be where I recommend that you start filling a Whitman folder, but that would be irresponsible in this case. You are approaching the hobby like a gambler who doesn't know the rules of the game and can't see the cards; in other words, you can never win. Staying in the hobby will only drain away your time and money, so it is best for you to quit cold turkey.

First, please work on your communication skills. You posted photos of a slabbed quarter and the single word "Nothing?". What is anyone supposed to make of that?

Second, you have started a few threads asking if clearly damaged coins are errors, and this is not the first one you have submitted to PCGS. Unless you are just looking to burn through hundreds of dollars I would suggest that you take a big step back until you have learned what real errors look like.

BTW, what sort of error did you think this was?

Isn't it obvious? PCGS obviously doesn't know what they're doing.

Well I doubt that this is a counterfeit coin. So obviously it was done at the mint. To me it look like a stamp through maybe something was in between the die and the coin when it was struck. But you guys have all the answers. I'm starting to think that you all are on somebody's payroll to discourage people in the hobby! The reason for the short word is because it doesn't matter what I say to you guys I'm going to get a negative response. Your responses have become entertainment to me that's the only reason why I'm still posting coins. This form definitely isn't for newcomers. But when there's money involved of course there's going to be people that try to degrade people's intelligence. No respect!

That's true. And you don't. You submitted the coin to the pre-eminent grading company in the world and they agreed with everyone here except you. So...everyone AND the grading company is wrong? Or you're wrong?

It's not intelligence. It's knowledge. You may or may not be intelligent but for sure you do not have ANY knowledge regarding error coins, as you continue to prove with every single post. Acquire the knowledge or don't, that's up to you, but there is a vast amount of publicly available research and data regarding all facets of numismatics. You've absorbed none of it thus far.

guys, please remember that there was a point where we all entered the hobby and did not know a lot about numismatics. now, years later, you guys are all experts. that's because of education and community! please be kind to each other, we all love coins and just want to learn more about them!
