Finding Arrowheads

Does anyone have advice on using a metal detector or something like it to look for arrowheads and bone fragments. I have no idea. So I am just throwing it out there.

Thanks

Finding metals together with arrowheads is rare. Perhaps in an old battle site perhaps.

In my experience, the best chance for arrowheads is to look for freshly plowed fields in areas that you know were settled by Native Americans. Also in creeks in the same areas; my best find came from a bend in a creek (5 inch knapped blade).
