The iconic Blue Whale has had a major grounds update. New visitor center & parking lot. There was just gravel & a shack of a store, kiddie seats and benches...

The Route itself has many alignments. We tried to drive on all 1926-1930 segments when available.
They're still out there.

Tulsa's Cyrus Avery Bridge. Mr. Avery introduced Route 66 in legislation. The road was to be called Route 60 but there was objection further East, so Mr. Avery randomly picked Route 66.
