Best moment last night: Half naked Cards fan gets PCA home run ball and everyone yells "Throw it back!", so he gives it a nice soft toss directly at....a Cub fan. Couldn't even make it to the outfield. :D

80% was funded by taxpayers. But that’s besides the point because I think the team is well run. Sorry you got issues bruh. Talk to someone.

Extremely predictable response. Instead of talking teams or sports you go to personal attacks since you dont like the situation of something you fan boy for and ignore the facts. Sorry the Cubs have a favorable easy schedule for the first half of the season

uh huh. when you approach facts we'll talk. nice try.

    @bgr said:
I tried for a long time to dig around in that junk drawer you got there to find some reasoning that I could interact with but you just live in your own reality with your own facts.

It wasnt a sinister dig at the Brewers. Theres no need to be sinister about it.

So yeah. My read was dead-red. You're trying to press buttons so you can get your reaction and then say how "no one wants to talk Sports...". Nah dude. You're transparent. Little antagonist just tossing little inflammatory remarks around. Which, speaking for myself.. Love it. That's 100 for me. But then you can't take punches back and you turn into a puddle of crybaby. So no. You don't discuss sports...

    Brewers hitters above average statistically.
Turang, Chourio, Vaughn, Yelich, Mitchell, Contreras. Frelick even. The team is also 20-16 and have been without a lot of their key players.

Cubs... as of this moment.. The Cubs first half schedule is ranked at #13... out of 30. Based on today's data. 13/30. Very easiest ever? See? Facts... You stay away!.

Brewers have the 2nd toughest schedule so far and projected through the first half? Don't agree with the numbers? Fine.... Make up whatever you want so long as you're talking sports. Nice try! Instead of talking sports...

Why is it that every time I attempt to discuss sports with you you just try and gaslight me with personal insults? I dont really care it just makes you look bad and you get offended by everything

Brewers near bottom of the league in payroll

Their SS, 3B, and LF have over 300 plate appearances and have the same amount of HRs for the Brewers as I do, 0

Yelich might be back by the end of the month from injury. Bauers isnt good hes the guy that every team throws in a trade to let GMs say they got extra value. These arent guys that are rookies, theyre in their prime with a history of not being able to hit and are cheap to sign

Hamilton bad, Bauers bad, Vaugn has 17 plate appearances. Churio 14 ABs.

Dogders, Padres, Braves, Cubs coming up. Theyll fade

Just predicting the facts. Talking the sports. From where though?

Unless you actually watch Cubs games on a regular basis, you can’t really know just how ridiculous this bunch has been so far. The crazy thing is, they’re still competing for a playoff spot, the season has a long way to go, and PCA is one of their best players even with the bloopers and abject failures. Last night was a perfect example. They were terrible. They suddenly weren’t. They won a game. I wanna scream and beg them for mercy. 😂

I was reading a yahoo article about PCA losing that ball in the lights and the fans were giving him hell. That happens, not his fault.
I really like that his OBP is 44 points higher right now than it was last year. Very important for him to get it higher with his speed. And the way he’s starting to hit now his OPS could climb quickly if he keeps it up. That homer he hit last night, that was a beautiful swing.
I’m predicting by end of year based on what I’m seeing is OPS+ around 140, (currently 117) he has to keep being selective and not revert back to bad habits of swinging at everything.

Without some big timber in the lineup from a guy like Jake Bow-Wowers their chances of winning the division are dwindling! Even with a very easy schedule against bad teams in the NL Central.

fun fact for Cubs fans. Craig Counsell holds the modern record in MLB for consecutive at-bats without a hit when he went 0-45 while playing for YOUR Milwaukee Brewers.

But. There's also the old idiom that... what doesn't kill you makes you STRONGER! So perhaps the Cubs should try their manager's stance?

Is it ironic that while the Cubs slide off the cliff's edge, PCA has become their most reliable hitter and probably deserves to be selected to the All-Star Game simply because no one else on the team has done diddly squat lately. At least they got a W today. Now they get to deal with the suddenly resurgent Giants, who seem to be averaging a slam per game. :s

Already got it 141 in just a short period of time. Good call. That would have been a hell of a futures bet at the day of your prediction.

    I can’t believe it went from 117 to 141 in 12 days. 😂
Maybe my adjusted target should be 170 at the end of the season. Heck of a hot streak, hope he keeps it up. His OBP is now .348 this year, .287 last year and walks were 29 all of last year and already 24 this year. Great progress.

how i've never once seen or heard of this at-bat is beyond me. definitely one of the greatest of all time

ump calls a strike without a batter in the box, then on the next pitch there are two guys........and both were ready to swing 😂

Royals pitchers have given up 35 runs the last 2 games and 58 runs the last 6. I’m putting up a toll booth between 3rd and home I’ll be a millionaire in no time. I actually think our second pitcher tonight was someone they found wandering around Chicago in an evil clown suit scaring kids and they asked him if he wanted to make a few bucks. I’ve heard tall tales of someone called Miz who rules the pitchers mound like a modern day colossus but I know those are just stories. I’m a Royals fan and I know pitchers like that don’t exist but it’s a nice legend.
I haven’t looked at the schedule but if the Cubs are slumping offensively I hope they get to play KC.

Thanks for the update. KC pitching sucks. I anticipate the front office in Chicago won't be texting the Royals GM looking for a downgrade. :p

The cubs signing Bergman caused the Sox to trade for Durbin which got us Harrison and Drohan. How those dominos fell was pure poetry.

The Cubs, at least, have the league’s best overall defense, which is good when you consider how many hard hit balls are put in play with their pitching. Bregman is solid at his position, but consistently pops up while still dreaming about hitting in Houston. 🤨

With the heat and wind blowing out the past 2 days it was an easy prediction. Then for good measure, the Padres gave them batting practice to puff up their stats.

Preller has traded away basically everyone of the Padres best prospects its catching up to them. Definitely a hitter friendly day there that was a disaster for a pitcher with multiple TJ surgeries

    Fire AJ Preller

Perk…. A week or so back KC was going to start a relief pitcher, and he would pitch at the most 2 innings. Well that guy can be decent at times but I knew a couple of the pitchers they were going to use after him really sucked. The Royals gave up 22 or 23 runs that game. I knew before it started they would lose and I thought I really need an online account to take advantage. They’ve had a lot of starting pitchers get hurt so if they start a reliever again I’ll let you know.

    Thank you!!

Any and all information is always welcome

Couple years ago my friend who runs a store had a customer come in late AM and they were talking sports and the guy said "The Bruins are going to get destroyed tonight" and my buddy confused asked why and the guy told him how the whole team is sick with the flu

This guy was close friends with someone in the organization and he was in the know, none of this info had hit the news yet and it was purely innocent since the guy wasn't a gambler or anything

My buddy called me and we made a killing betting against the favored Bruins lol
