    OKC now a 56% favorite.

  • stevekstevek Posts: 32,063 ✭✭✭✭✭

    OKC now at 63%

They were down at 34% at one point.

  • stevekstevek Posts: 32,063 ✭✭✭✭✭

OKC back to 48% at the blink of an eye.

  • stevekstevek Posts: 32,063 ✭✭✭✭✭

Over 85 mil bet on Kalshi at halftime, and the money continues to pour in.

  • stevekstevek Posts: 32,063 ✭✭✭✭✭

Popped the Spurs ML when OKC cut the lead to 6, with around 3 1/2 minutes left.

Getting almost 30% on my money. Like stealing.

    Congrats to the Spurs!

i do feel sorry for SGA. down two key teammates and he received very little help. he looked like he was about to die on the court......he played 13 more minutes than anyone else in that game

Chet Holmgren was an absolute disgrace. dude averages 17 a game and shot the ball twice! thanks for stepping up, a-hole! :D

  • stevekstevek Posts: 32,063 ✭✭✭✭✭

I'd have to think the books are quite happy with that result. I'd have to believe that some if not a lot of whales during the regular season, and especially early in the season when OKC looked unstoppable, they placed some very large bets on OKC winning another championship.

That money is now gone with the wind. 💸

Sounds like Galaxy may come out of hibernation. 😉

  • stevekstevek Posts: 32,063 ✭✭✭✭✭

My early take on the Spurs-Knicks series for the championship.

I've seen a number of times the Knicks begin a game with a multitude of players hitting threes beyond belief. I don't recall a team ever being that good with threes early in a game like that.

If somehow the Spurs can put a stop to that, well then in my opinion they will become the new NBA champs.

I think that line reflects that the less rest the Spurs will have had compared to the Knicks time off won't be a factor.

So Knicks with 11 wins in a row. I will use that figure to bet against them. Maybe the law of averages will catch up to them. At least for the first 2 games.

Spurs played the Knicks three times this season:

    12/16 neutral court lost 124-113
    12/31 home won 134-132
    3/1 road lost 114-89

  • stevekstevek Posts: 32,063 ✭✭✭✭✭

    Spurs -4.5

It's early but I don't see that line moving very much one way or the other.

I think a case could be made either way with that line, of the books showing some love to the Spurs and the Knicks.

It's amazing how sometimes key players just don't show up in some of these games

SGA included, game 6 was atrocious for him

I took the Vegas line of bet 10k to win one cent, that Galaxy will be back to hammer the Spurs.

Wemby about to show the world there is a new sheriff in town, and I think it's an easy call.

i dont think im coming out of hibernation for this series. still not feeling it, but i'm also not feeling this series. I obviously want SA, but i would not sleep on the Knicks. earlier this year when they had that ridiculous tournament within the season, these two teams were the finalists......and New York won. so there's that. hoping for an entertaining best-of-7, with the right outcome. B)

gl to those who hit it

Haven't played a lot of MLB games yet, but starting to get the hang of it, I think. Was horrible last season.

I only decided to stay with it because I once watched Chip Reese in an interview, and stated MLB is the only sports league he ever beat. He said him and his buddy devised a system just using math. Of course he didn't go into any detail.

I'm not there yet, but I think I see somewhat how Chip was doing it. As I've been hitting a number of blowout games, whereby last season it was just the opposite.

Got this one in the bag. I realize it's probably all been just luck. 🤔

Never before made a futures wager, and don't intend to make a habit of it. But I might play the Spurs to win this series. Plenty of time to decide.

Both sides getting love, no doubt about it.

This might sound crazy, but I think the first quarter of the first game, will say a lot as to how this series goes. If the Spurs can stop an early onslaught of threes from the Knicks, then I think they have an excellent chance to become champs. But if the Knicks prevail in that regard, then I think it will be a tight series, could go either way.

This scenario might be the exact same in every game.

Will be very interesting to see Wemby on defense in that first quarter.

There's another factor which might affect this series. Without going into details, New York City is falling apart right now. How this may affect the play from the Knicks at home, if at all, I do not know. Hopefully the security will be as super tight as possible to prevent any distractions or disturbances.

2 of my golf bets wound up in the bunker. Jaeger withdrew and missed the cut. Hall out and out played on but missed the cut. This keeps up will be joining my compadres in the sabbatical arena.
    Am alive with Smalley though.

You caught Smalley very nicely - top 5

i did not want to place this bet. i really didn't. i've been perfectly fine being on the outside looking in. but i had to. why, you may ask? #10,000. there had to be a bet attached to this post. if Aberg comes through for me, i'll continue wagering. if he doesn't, back to the sidelines i go and i'll be there for a while.

one other thing i strategically included is the screenshot of my application to the Masters lottery for the '27 tourney. it opened today. i am 0-for-13. perhaps #10,000 will be my lucky charm. i recommend each of you doing the same. go to Masters.com, create an account if you don't have one, scroll to the bottom, click on 'Ticket Info & Apply,' and take it from there. just make sure you max out on the number of tickets you'd like to purchase each day (4 on Mon, Tues and Wed, 2 on Thurs, Fri, Sat, and Sun). if chosen, it'll be for a specific day. roughly a 1-in-200 chance of it happening. the application window runs from June 1 through June 20, and ticket applicants are selected in late July.

I just saw on the news that DK has closed their website for the evening. The stated reason was some bettor in the New England area, placed so many wagers that it used up all their available server space.

    😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

    I can't believe it but I didn't make a single wager today

Brutal honesty is I didn't really feel like it, not even weird because I was thinking to myself it has been pretty damn nice not spending my day and night score checking on my phone to see how I got hosed by something stupid that happened that shouldn't have happened or a guy who went 5 for 5 yesterday and will go 5 for 5 tomorrow but today he goes 0-5 against the worst pitcher in MLB

I'm 100% not quiting sports betting but at the moment I'm just not feeling it
