Fiery New Buffalo

With the addition of this first year 1913-D type 1 Buffalo nickel, my 3 coin type 1 set is now complete. The color is outstanding and the strike is strong.

That’d be nice in any set …. Just as it is standing alone.

Very nice! I recently purchased a Buffalo with similar toning.

Terrific coin. I really like the craftsmanship for the first year issue of the Buffalo Nickel.

Actually, the 1938-D Type One Buff is better struck on the whole for Type 1 Buffs, and it's a good candidate for representation in a Type Set.

Pete, do you mean the 1913-D, type 1 as opposed to the 1938-D? Zack.

You would need a Type 1 Raised Mound Buff for a Type Set, so yes - I meant the 1913-D.

    My mistake - DUH.
