The Buena Park Coin Show (June 12-13) has been CANCELLED

FYI, unfortunately, the Buena Park Show that was scheduled for June 12-13 at the Retail Clerk's Hall (right across from Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California) has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict with the venue. I am told the September 12-13 Buena Park show (which is right after the Long Beach show (September 9-11) will definitely go on! https://pacificexposllc.com/

I just checked and the forecast is for mild temps with little to no wind. No percepitation.
There may be an elevated risk of fire, otherwise weather wise, good-to-go.

Not sure what the weather has to do with the show being cancelled due to a scheduling conflict??? But in any event, we're having beautiful weather, mostly low 80's.

Folks already with hotel reservations, don't forget to cancel them. The So Cal summer hotel rates are high already.

  • They must have predicted the toxic gas leak in Garden Grove and decided not to take a chance?

Yeah, everything is great. The quakes created the mudslides which put out the fires.

Has it been confirmed this show is actually cancelled? I've received conflicting reports.

Absolutely yes, the show is cancelled! Kerry who owns/runs the show called me personally and asked me to put it out on social media to let everyone know. I certainly would not have created this thread if it was not certain!!

Is there a second source we can refer to for double confirmation?
I'd hate to miss the show on sketchy details.

If you can’t trust the word of the actual owner of the show (or me relaying the message for him), or the notice on the BP show's website, feel free to show up at the show and find out for yourself.

if she said she was told by a principal to disseminate it, then you need no confirmation

It is a terrific show and certainly will be a wonderful addition to locals (Southern California) in the near future.

At least no conspiracy theories, considering it was cancelled a day before the Glendale incident and the venue is just blocks north of the current evacuation zone.

Is there a solid chance if the Glendale incident is resolved in time this show will be back on? If so, how will that be announced?

The incident is unrelated to the show cancellation. Kerry told me it was due to a venue scheduling issue. The cancellation preceded all of that by a day.

I and other dealers wish it was on. But things happen. September will be interesting. A lot of us will be doing it immediately after doing Long Beach. They are very close too.

    You really are an idiot.

The show was canceled - as was clearly stated - due to a conflict at the venue. They booked somebody else who pays more. Any questions beyond that are just stupidity.
