My Blank Planchet Type Set so far . . .

I am missing the Half Dollar Clad and the SBA Dollar. I have seen the Half Dollar clad for sale but not an SBA Dollar yet (if anyone has or knows of one, please let me know). Now, since this is a Type Set, I very much doubt that the following are available: Half Cent, Two Cent, Three Cent (silver & nickel), Half Dime, or Twenty Cent blanks. Let me know if I am wrong.

Very cool indeed! However, is it appropriate for the slabs to carry the designation 'Mint Error'?
Cool idea. IMO Mint Error is appropriate, or has the mint been giving these away as souvenirs?
I bet it will take long time to get them. Very nice set.
So far so good, I like 👍
Good job on a nice set.
I vaguely remember seeing a $20 gold planchet. Check with Fred Weinberg.
Nice set! Best of luck finishing it!

creative. I like.
Very very cool set. I have an SBA blank planchet, but it is not slabbed yet. Good luck on finishing your quest!
Great set.
Why does the 40% half label say "various" for the denomination?
This is just a circulation coin set, correct?
Very nice!
As @Rampage says, SBA planchets are available if you can accept a raw one and slab it yourself.
Heritage has sold half cent and half dime planchets; I'm not sure about the others. Prices are very expensive, as in "more than everything else in your picture put together".
Some others missing from your picture:
...and then you can start working on type 1 blanks! :-)
What a neat set!
1965-1970 or 1976
Those are the years (1975 also). The label says "various" for the date, but it also says "various" in place of the denomination.
Are you interested in selling?
I have never seen the Two Cent, Three Cent (silver & nickel), Half Dime, or Twenty Cent planchets.
Half cent yes but they are hard to come by.

Not at this time. I was doing something similar to you, but your set will blow mine away.
Yep, but I don't understand why. 40% has to be a Kennedy Half 1965-1970
I purchased Bill Fivaz’s blank and planchet Set in the mid 1990s, added some pieces to it and sold
Them, individually , thru Heritage when I retired and sold my personal collection in 2022.
(Did not include any gold pieces) Bill‘s set was the most complete I was aware of.
I did have a three cent nickel type two planchet, I believe, but I’ve never seen or heard of a three cent silver piece – and never heard of a $.20 blank or planchet ever. check the Heritage archives for what I sold – I believe they were all slabbed with my label that PCGS did up for me.
There are a few gold planchets known, including the only $20 gold planchet that I’m aware of that came out of the big Hawaiian deal sold approximately 20–25 years ago
By the way, SBA planchets should be easily found – the blanks are a little bit scarcer, but they’re around.
Hope this info helps a little bit
In addition to 1965 -1970 40% 1/2-dollar planchets were used in 1975 & 1976 USA Halves.
Also used for Panama Medio Balboas 1966 thru 1971 or 1972:
Various years & various country & various denominations.
Did not read the other posts, but if this helps there is an SBA blank planchet currently on EBAY.

I checked those two eBay auctions – overpriced and the Kennedy Half is not nice- I would look up Jon Sullivan‘s website. I’m sure he has both of those and, and many others in stock atmuch more realistic market prices
Could have been a Panamanian 1/2 Balboa, but the same thing applies to any U.S. planchet sometimes used to strike Panamanian equivalent coinage, and we don't have any problem calling a U.S. Quarter DOllar planchet of either composition a U.S> planchet.
A long time ago I had a nickel planchet that I believe was meant for a Buffalo nickel, the upset rim had a different look than modern planchets and the surfaces had a darker, coppery tone like a lot of early Buffaloes exhibit. I don't know how to prove it except with an ownership provenance that predated 1938, but it passed the "smells like a duck" test.
