App needed to scan barcodes and create an inventory

I probably have a thousand PCGS graded coins in my collection. I really have no idea, I need to do an inventory and get it into a spreadsheet. Does anyone know of a good way to do this? I need to cross reference the coins in this list with my registry to figure out which ones I still own. Thank you in advance for any advice and help.

For some reasons barcode scan did not work for PCGS Cert app. it used to work but somehow it did not work recently. I scanned about 40 coins from different sources (HA, SB, GC, Spink etc.). NFC works on most but have about 12 of them did not work so I sent them back to PCGS for reholder last week.
It never works for me in the PCGS app either, but I've seen dealers at shows use inexpensive barcode scanners that are on amazon for $20-$50, I am NOT a tech guy nor making the claim that they will surely work, but for $20 id probably try that hooked up to a laptop and see how that performs.

I have a scanner and it works fine for CAC submissions. I am looking for an app. I know there have been some forum members that have had apps in the past that may do this.
Pencil and paper and a great pair of comfortable reading glasses.
A glass of Bourbon, although not mandatory, is recommended.
I think the bourbon will counteract the reading glasses.

Well my son who is an engineering student @ Purdue has been hired - LOL. He is going to write a script to do it.
with signing bonus?
LOL. He did it now he can scan it directly into an excel spreadsheet.
