    The content of a "Big Mac" has not been consistent over the years.
    This makes the comparison less significant.

    Maybe a chart of how many gallons of regular gasoline that a silver quarter could buy ?

    Silver Roosevelt dime will pay for a gallon of gas and could still get a dollar back, in change …. If it ( that silver dime) weren’t such a relic.
