Cal Raleigh

His OPS+ is down over 100 points from last year. Talk of a side injury but I’m not sure that’s the total reason for the decline. The Cardinals Jordan Walker’s OPS+ is up over a hundred points. Some players who started really slow are coming around like Julio Rodriguez and some are still struggling.
Bobby Witt needs to keep raising his slugging % and OPS which he’s been doing since the start of May but even starting slowly he’s still leading MLB with 2.8 WAR. I don’t think he’s made an error at SS yet after 1/4 of the season is complete.

Does Tatis have a HR yet?

    BTW @Darin

I happened to see Witts inside the park. HR which apparently they figured was the shortest hit HR ball ever lol

I could not believe how fast Witt was when I saw the replay, like WOW is that kid fast

He is fast, but not as fast as that Desert Lightning Corbin Carroll!

But seriously here. I was just looking at some guys who were 2025 studs that have been abysmal so far in 2026... and there are some guys who are a little surprising.

Devers, Bichette (Mets curse), J-Ram, Acuna, PCA, Tuck...

Witt is doing great by comparison... Raleigh looks like he's broken. Devers... wow.

Bohm of the Phillies is another one. The last two games he’s 4-7 with two homers and a double and it only raised his batting avg. to .180 and OPS+ 46. It will be interesting to see if he breaks out of it or not or if those two games are just a mirage. One thing about it, since Mattingly took over as Phillies manager they’ve been winning…. A lot.

Pasquintino and Salvy are still struggling with KC so I hope they can get it going.
Perk I don’t think Tatis has a homer yet.
