PSA Vintage card grading faster then Modern

Not sure if this is the usual standard or they use different graders that vintage moves faster then modern. I submitted a Value Bulk (1980-present) 23 cards - received Feb 13 still in Research & ID. I then submitted a Value Bulk (1979-older) 29 cards - received on April 20 and on May 8 moved to Grading. I am sure it will get stuck for sometime yet.
I was shocked to get the email yesterday this order had moved to grading

Well, for perspective I have a vintage sub that arrived 11/06/25 that has been sitting in assembly for a couple of months now.
I have had 2 modern subs sent in, 1 in Jan and 1 in Feb. They have both been finished. I think each submission is its own creature.

That’s great to hear. They needed to get the schedule under control. Hopefully they’ve made real progress on it.

Someone also has to review every single card to make sure you are upcharged the appropriate amount.

I can't figure out their schedule at all. I just pray that vintage graders are the only people grading my stuff. I hope that PSA knows that we don't want a newbie grading our vintage cards.
