Denver Coin Expo report - kind of...lots of photos!

I took the day off from work so I could attend since I won't be available over the weekend.
Got there about 10am and immediately forgot to take any photos of the entire event and crowd.
I got distracted and went right to looking around, drooling over coins, and chatting with many familiar faces ![]()
It was plenty busy, tons of great conversations and selling and buying happening everywhere.
Took a few things I brought to send off at the ANACS table.
Incredibly happy to run into my other favorite person from from World of Coins who was picked up by ANACS (is now a grader!) after Craig the owner unfortunately passed away last year, I had known Craig for a couple of decades starting from well before he purchased the coin shop.
Got to chat for a while with a couple of Denver Coin Club folks, I'm a member but don't get to go to nearly as many meetings as I would like to due to still being a 9-5er (actually an 8-4:30er).
Always fun having a quick chat with Dan Carr and partner, I swear I learn something new every time I see him, this time it was about the Sacagawea obverse coin design and it actually being the only coin design with a copyright. Dan was selling plenty as well as some sweet 1922 buffalo nickels he struck last night.
I got a few compliments on my shirt too, got it custom printed a couple weeks ago..and according to what I had just learned, might be breaking the law for making it and wearing it ![]()
A nice gentleman and his wife (J.B.'s Coins)..."hey, you want to see a really wild error?!". Me, "yes, yes I do." Check out the error bill in the photos!
Said hello to Paul at his table (A Coin Shop) and had to check out a beatiful buffalo, MS68 with creamy colors, lovely.
Brought just a couple things to possibly sell and was surprised how quickly I sold them at prices I was extremely happy with.
Bought a few things including a handful of OBW rolls. Rolls...they make me happy.
Great vibes at the show, lots of smiles, and an absolutely beautiful day today in Denver.
Some favorite things while exploring...

Much love from the Denver area everyone! Have a great weekend!!

Sounds like a great show.
Lots of big coins posted, so it must bring in some quality dealers.
Thanks for your report (& all the great photos)!

Great pics. Thanks for sharing!
Amazing coins! Love the Judd 69. Incredible seeing that at a small show.
I've always wondered what would happen if a deep pockets collector decided to corner the market on all problem free early silver dollars. I'd think within two months he would amass over a hundred or more examples and then with a full-court-press continued to go after them another 100 or so.
After that would dealers catch on even he the buyer was doing so under the radar. Would prices rise? Would the buyer eventually be successful?
Very nice report.
Thank you for the pictures !!!
I wouldn't say it's a small show. Around 130+ dealers.

Didn’t realize who you were while you were taking photos of off center Ike and colorful 79 Morgan dollar.
I too am member of Denver Coin Club.
Sometimes I think we should wear name tags with our forum handles to shows so that we can match faces to names.

Killer report! And thank you for all the pics, some incredible numismatic treasures!
A couple years ago I did wear a Kurisu name tag and it helped with meeting a couple of folks from this forum who had tables
and I totally agree! Well, it was nice to meet you!!
