What is the correct BHNC die-state for this 1822 O-108 half-dollar, please?

I have it listed in my collection as O-108 prime but the obverse die crack can be seen. Thanks in advance.

Also, the obverse was lightly cleaned but overall, the image is representative.

It is certainly an O-108a, die state 108.3. I can't see the cracks for 108.4, which says "Additional die crack reverse from last described crack through 50, eventually through arrowheads and RIC."

Maybe you can tell in hand if those final cracks are apparent? Nevertheless, it is an O108a.

  • Thank you. In hand inspection confirms that it is not terminal, but I was not sure whether it qualified for "a" die state. Now I can update my notes accordingly.

    I really appreciate it!
