Just one look and a few more passes around the store and I zeroed back to this one.
I think I'm becoming an eclectic type of collector. If it shines, does cartwheels, has color, grade, and especially CAC she talks.
Feel free to show yours as well. I would love to see some others...

    Good eye! Looks just like a D. But after closer inspection with a loupe it does not appear to be raised.

    The pics really don’t do it justice.
    Whenever I’m shooting a bright coin, the density gets darker. Maybe some kind of an auto setting. I need to work on that.

    I think the images are just fine. Its a beautiful original coin. The luster is amazing.
    Edit: I forgot to add my grade guess. All I could see is some rub on the reverse chest and slightly on her head.

    I got the grade right. I guess all of my research about grading is paying off.

    I don’t even know what to say other than you might need help lol.

    Something I noticed about this Texas design not sure if the others are like this, but the raised rims really intensify the cartwheel.

    Tough to see in my particular lighting but there is a couple small lines/scratches under states a couple of hits under the date, some marks on the edge of the big star, a little rub on the boob, etc. etc.
    Obviously I don't know these enough to say whether an upgrade is in order but it couldn't to try I suppose.
    I've never tried the crossover service so would they upgrade it if warranted?

    Thanks! It’s an old picture from last year. I’m now up to 148, all but three in gold CAC. I’m still on the hunt for a Missouri (tough), Sesqui (tougher) and Lafayette (toughest) with a gold bean.

    Depends of your angle but in general; Hawaiian, Spanish Trail and Grant (with Star) are hard to come by and cost a small fortune.

    To determine the "easiest" one, it depends on how you view the question, as mentioned. The easiest one in circulated is by far Columbian. Easiest in UNC is BTW/Washington Carver. In Gem BU, Iowa, Cleveland, and Long Island are some affordable choices, though BTW and Washington Carver are still the cheapest in Gem.

    Thanks guys, was just curious in case I stumble across more of these.
    It would be nice to have the toughest in 58 and the easiest in 68. The best of both worlds without spending a small fortune.

    The least expensive 68 is undoubtedly the Iowa. I have seen them as “low” as $1500 without a CAC sticker. They are generally bright white and beautiful, if one likes the design.

    Yea, I was browsing the Price Guide this morning and saw that.
    The Gettysburg, Cali & Boone are cool designs.
    And as far as the tough ones go it looks like MS64 is doable in the 3 to 4K range but again availability, actual costs and particular toning will come into play.

    Also noticed your Spanish Trail cert # is bringing up a standing Liberty, not sure if I got it right.
