Cool find indeed. I know I would not have the self control to keep the pack sealed. I would have to open it.
buying O-Pee-Chee (OPC) baseball cards
also collecting US & Canadian silver coins
Thanks for sharing, cool story. It's from January 2024, wonder what he did with it?
Reporter goofed, showing a Topps Mantle card instead of Bowman. And it looks to be a 1 cent, single card pack. Hope the gum didn't stain it!
Gonna demo my house looking for packs. Gotta be a score in here somewhere. Ten years ago we did a small project renovation and found empty vodka bottles in the bathroom walls. Maybe the drunks left something better in the foundation. 🤭
Should I demo my home? I'm hoping to find a 1952 Topps pack...my house was built in 1994.
My original structure was built in 1933 and has since had plenty of additional work. The framework is sturdy and even survived a couple earthquakes. We have found some other interesting old relics here, but no cards yet.
My late Uncle hid his GE stock up in his house attic. I was given the task to locate it. Was hidden behind a wall.
Wow Derek
Always fun to see posts like this - very entertaining.
Thanx for sharing buddy.
We remodeled our kitchen this past fall. While a wall frame was exposed, my son joked that we should place a low grade T206 from my collection inside the wall so we can make the news in about 100 years or so. Imagine the shock of finding that in a house built in 2000.
That's funny.
Do it!

While digging up the backyard we found and old 1950's coke bottle. After cleaning it up, it looks nice on the shelf on our backbar.
When we moved into our house about 5 years ago, slid to the back on the top storage shelf in the basement, we found a professionally shot 8x10 of the lady we bought the house from that was taken in the 90's. It was taken in Vegas and she is in sexy lingerie. When we bought the house, I thought, she probably had potential when she was in her prime (she's in her 60's at this point, which would put her in her mid 30's at that time) little did I know we'd find proof! Real funny part is, I went to high school with on of her sons back when the picture would have been taken.
