What's the difference between a "reverse proof" and an "enhanced uncirculated"? It seems redundant to me. Not trying to be negative. Can someone explain it to me? Is it the level of mirror on the devices? I'm just trying to understand why they are also going to make an enhanced peace dollar if they are making the reverse proof.

what's the difference between a proof and a reverse proof. different shiny parts and different frosted parts. the EU will have a variety of maybe 3 textures and the textures will enhance the effect of the design

As the USMINT isn't using actual photos of products their renderings do not show accurate surface and textures. I posted this for die details and P Mint Mark on reverse. I was curious what 2025S four piece reverse proof $ actually look like, so I did an ebay search to see. Works for items in the past, no clue how all these new issues and surfaces will flesh out for 250th.

That said, Morgan & Peace Reverse Proofs were only items I subscribed from Mint since 2023 on. They are so unusual looking, so I keep buying them, but never at House Hold Limits until today.
    Are they overpriced ?
    I think so.
    Well,
Unless silver hits "$309 an ounce by end of 2026." Then they are VERY good deals at Just 2x spot today.

With all the 250th hoopla I have to subscribe months ahead to be able to choose what to do a week~ish before items have legit release dates. I think these are 180k & 170Kmax mintage and only .859 of 999 silver. Takes 14 to equal a hair above 12 ounces which is very weird too. Reverse Proof Retro Dollars were in 2 piece sets now they are singles this year. No clue what the2026 retro design $ 2 piece set HHL 2 will be. Finish detail and die details have not fleshed out yet & Set is 160k max.

Not everything I buy is smart, but I like some aspects of 250th issues, the ones I like I am stacking. Some I'll resell before the bottom drops out to lower my cost on what I keep while picking of the litter.

I am very happy 250th is not a two year release like 1975/76 was.

Heres the link to 61 product offers I use to see whats up with the array of USMINT 2026:

Gotcha. Thanks for the explanation. I appreciate it.

With silver falling and likely to go lower before going much higher, these seem overpriced to me.
I'll vote with my order cancellations, so have at it. There are only about seven full size silver dollar-ish this year at only about $175 each, they almost make the mint sets look like a deal. /rant

HHL is currently 5 for the subscriptions of the 2 piece set.

Yes HHL 5 on two coin set is true, but on the 2026 sixty one items page the Morgan/Peace two coin set is HHL 2

I've collected these since 2021, mostly slabbed. The 2026 Morgan dual date looks extremely crowded to me, the Peace looks fine. If these had smaller mintages it would be more compelling. These haven't really had any numismatic value except for the 2021s. 2023-2025s have flat lined, even with the 2026 mint price increase. Help me decide... throw in the towel or do one more year?

The "images". Does it look reverse proof to you. The computer images are just ridiculous.

Thanks for the close ups Goldbully !

Ya know, I now see that the Peace dollar does look less crowded. I have the enhanced Morgan and Proof Morgan on sub right now.
I had the Peace enhanced or proof, don't recall, but cancelled it a month ago. Frankly, because of the higher mintage. My preferences.

I might just skip these 2026 Morgan dollars anyway.

I have the 2026 ASE and dual date ASE, P-marked ASE and dual date gold eagle ( to be delivered at some point).

For those that have the uncirculated enhanced Gold eagle in hand, are the enhanced traits of the enhanced ASE 2026 and enhanced 2026 Morgan dollars about the same? I read what Morrissine typed, "what's the difference between a proof and a reverse proof. different shiny parts and different frosted parts. the EU will have a variety of maybe 3 textures and the textures will enhance the effect of the design" Thanks

edit: self correct. OK I see that the Mint does not have mages of the enhanced Morgan or Peace dollar yet.

And the enhanced ASE has a bad rendition showing no real detail...
    Anybody have insider knowledge ??
