I have had ads popping up on my phone and social media accounts about this album being available so I decided to look into the contents of the set. I'm rather disappointed.
Whitman is offering folders, deluxe albums, and their new Prestige albums for the 250th anniversary coinage. The ports are for coins placed into circulation, as follows:
Jefferson Nickel, P+D
Emerging Liberty Dime, P+D
All five quarters, P+D
Enduring Liberty Half Dollar, P+D
The albums are each two pages with the quarters awkwardly split between them. The Prestige album retails for $69.95.
Personally, I think Whitman should have included into those albums the Cents from the Mint Set, the Innovation Dollars and Native American Dollars, and all the Proof, Silver Proofs, and Reverse Proofs for the price they are retailing the album for. I don't know how to justify selling a mass-produced album at that price that will ultimately hold less than $4 worth of coins.

But it’s got a slipcase!
The full mint offerings might be a little much and I wouldn't be interested. But, if it had the cents, nickels, dimes, quarters, halves the sac dollar and maybe the dual date unc ASE, I could see this being a nice display for the annual set.
If it goes with it then yes
$70 for an album with that little coin storage is insane!!
I paid $25 for my prestige Woman Quarters album and only $8 for my normal 250th Whitman folder

More albums from different sources will be coming out later this year. Yes, the Whitman is a bad joke. Keep looking and hold off purchase for a few months.
The pardon is for tyrants. They like to declare pardons on holidays, such as the birthday of the dictator, or Christ, or the Revolution. Dictators should be encouraged to keep it up. And we should be encouraged to remember that the promiscuous dispensation of clemency is not a sign of political liberality. It is instead one of those valuable, identifying marks of tyranny.
