My old LCS had an example like that. There were a number of aluminum pieces promoting the metal's use and its "superiority."

"Newly made" sounds like it was just struck, or restruck. I know you mean "just slabbed," but others might not.
Thanks, Capt., but I actually thought it to be a reproduction when I bought it several years ago. It is not slabbed. My bad. I thought the curved Earth was not something done then, again my error. Thanks all for your replies. Perhaps some better pics. Aluminum sucks.
