I been playing this a lot this season, funny thing is I usually include Schwarber but today I didn't and of course he hit one but I can't complain!
Very nice, and with that third player it would have been a monster.
Not as much as you think, probably would have added another 150 or so, obviously Schwarber odds are not that great like Judge and Ohtanhi, I obviously would have liked that though lol
Bobby Witt hit his first HR, his odds were hovering around 340 to 430 depending on the pitcher, I tried him a few times but didn't happen
Fernando Tatis is another guy who has yet to hit one so far
Talladega recap. Scored with a Chevy winning the race. Bombed out on my 2 top 5 bets. Logano got involved in the big one 26 car destruction event. Preece in it until his wreck with a few laps to go. All in all a great race with lots of action for my small loss.
Successful transactions:Tookybandit. "Everyone is equal, some are more equal than others".
This was completely stupid but figured I'd have a dart throw for the Celtics game
I.mean Peyton Pritchard going off like he was Larry Bird tonight was just stupid and annoying, that's how people lose money when stupid stuff like that goes on
Derek White couldn't get 8 points and Edgecome couldn't hit a 3 so it was just not happening
Interesting, I didn't see it until just now. They reinstated the 50% profit boost.
Gotta play something, even a coin flip, the odds are nicely in my favor. However I have no clue as to what to play? Any suggestions would be appreciated, but only if it wins. 😉
i was trying to come up with a "worst bad beats" compilation since this thread started 3.5 years ago. my contribution was the Rockets game the other night. i thought long and hard about it, but i struggled to come up with one worse than that (from my wagers).
i personally do not think the definition of a bad beat should be a player/team that has a monstrous lead with limited time left and loses, the true def should be a player/team that loses for no other reason than someone or someones proving to the entire world that God wasted His time when He gave them a brain. literally giving a game/contest away when it has been won, in other words.
i don't even have to ask Perk what his is.👇 wanna add to this infamous list, @stevek & @BLUEJAYWAY ?

It was back in the 1980's and I've long forgotten the intimate details. I don't even recall the opponent. Notre Dame football. It was a pick-em game or close to that, and I played Notre Dame with a local book.
It was less than two minutes to play, Notre Dame had the football with around a 12 or13 point lead, something like that. The game is "over." Then Notre Dame fumbles the football. Opponent recovers, and scores a TD shortly thereafter.
Opponent then tries an onside kick which was successful. They again score a TD. Notre Dame gets the football back with little time left and looked like they were a deer in headlights. I sat there on my couch in the same manner, thinking was I now in some sort of different universe or something? I was so stunned I couldn't even get mad.

I hope the Rockets get humiliated in their own house and are swept out of the playoffs
but i'm sure they'll probably win today when it's just a formality......especially with Durant playing
edit: and then OKC will practically get a bye when they face the Lakers in the semis
Right on cue. Rockets win big, and without Durant to boot.
I bet the book made a ton of money with the majority of the money on the Lakers of course
The line did bounce from Rockets -2.5 to Rockets -3.5 before game time.
I never did use the 50% profit boost. Just couldn't see anything. I could have just flipped a coin and played something with a fat boost like that, which would have been the smart thing to do. But I got too caught up in watching the props, and also work that I'm doing. Oh well.

Those 50% profit boosts are so enticing
If the books offered a 50% profit boost on every bet, there'd probably be over 100 million Americans making a good living off sports betting. 😂
OKC looking to close out a series tonight, winning the first three games handily. The line is saying there won't be any form reversal in this game, but who knows?
Speaking of bad beats yesterday, every now and then we pull.a victory out of the jaws of defeat.
I had the Yankees and Dodgers both to get over 3.5 runs scored.in one bet and then I tied that into a bigger parlay with reasonable NBA PRA legs but added the Dodgers to win the game as well
Well the Dodgers rip 2 runs in the first inning so I'm thinking "I got this" yet it took.a 2 run 2 out single in the bottom of the ninth to secure the victory.for the over runs scored and the Dodger victory to cash both bets

I think that line says the Sixers may still have a little bit of fight left in them. But it's the NBA so who knows?
Contemplating the Sixers spread, and tickling some props.
Yep, if I was going to get involved in the outcome of this game I'd be hard pressed not to take the points
I agree with ya.
The Celtics over the past two seasons, do have a bad habit in games such as this, of underperforming at home. I think the line does indicate that. Normally should be higher in my opinion, around -14 or so.
This might be the type of game whereby the Celtics get a handy lead, have the game basically won, the series closed out, but become a bit sloppy and the Sixers crawl back in a bit and cover.
I'm hoping some large whale money comes in on Boston. But even at -11.5 I think the Sixers are a good value. Then again, it's the NBA, Sixers might lose by 50 points. LOL

When I'm in the mood, I usually just piggyback on Galaxy's golf picks when he places a large bet, and it seems to work out well. I think I've hit 4 out of 5 doing that.

It'd be great seeing you at the final table. Been a while since I've closely followed it, but I think it guarantees a milly for reaching the final table, if I'm not mistaken.
I'm not sure which is more embarrassing - Winning the game by 32.5 points and leaving a ton of money on the table, or losing by 32.5 points. 🤔😂
i'm just happy to win an NBA bet. when the C's were up 13 in the 3rd, i stopped keeping up with that game. i knew i was about to eat another. when i saw the final score, i couldn't believe it. but then i asked myself, why can't you believe it? thrilled to be on the right side of what i never saw coming for once.
Boston was on the verge of sending Philly packing, then they got outscored by 29 points the rest of the way. all of a sudden, we have a series on our hands.
My bigger parlay straight up lost, the other play was a live prop. play that would have cashed if Peyton Pritchard did better than 1 for 5 in three point land, I needed 2 from him, once all other legs hit and I saw that I needed 1 more 3 from Pritchard I hedged under 1.5 just to ensure I make a few bucks.
I'm diggin' all the winnin' on here lately. Including my little bankroll. If one NBA player a few nights ago, would have had a lousy two more rebounds in a game in which he got plenty of minutes to do it, my roll would be at a record high right now.
Hope BLUEJAYWAY hits his Derby picks. I think it was 2 years ago, he called a $49 horse cold.

They voided my Durant action.
Hisses me off - a 50% profit boost down the drain. 😒
Why did they void it?
Did he get hurt? I'm not in on anything with that game...
May help my other props so I shouldn't complain.
I didn't realize Durant didn't play,
He must have been ruled out. I'm just watching the game digitally on the ESPN website. Checking it out every five/ten minutes or whatever.
Interesting the parlay is still alive, but now it's only paying around 5-2 odds.
Smith has 2 rebounds already so that helps.
Interesting, I didn't see it until just now. They reinstated the 50% profit boost.

DK offers a "Up 2 early win" option, you have to bet the ML but if your team goes up by 2 runs it's an auto win, even if they go on to lose the game
OKC ML
Looks too easy, that's what worries me.
Might tickle a few props.

Of course the Rockets without Durant, won by 19 at home last Sunday. And as we previously discussed, the Rockets should have won the game before that.
