Hi guys!
Is this a 42/1? I can't tell because of the toning. Maybe an expert can ring in.

It does not appear to be.
I dont see it
Nope
Is that even a 1942? I see it as 1940.
It's a 1941...

It won't let me post a video, anyone know how to do that?
I don't think it matters at this point. If it is not an obvious 42/1 from images provided, a video won't change that.

Almost looks like 194D
I don't see the 2 on yours. Is it there? It should be more prominent than the 1.

It can’t be a 1942/1 when there’s not even a hint of a “2” in the date.

The 42/1 is pretty dramatic as overdates go. It’s not the kind of thing that would get hidden under toning.
I see what he's looking at. It's Pareidolia.

Is a 41/2 valueable. There does appear to be plenty to go around.

There isn’t a “41/2” and the subject coin clearly isn’t the 42/1. My guess is that if 1942/1’s weren’t valuable, this thread wouldn’t even exist.

make a copy, put it in a binder for future reference
Is the photo lighting causing the 1 to appear so much higher than the 4? At least to me it seems quite high and not regular. Still not a 42/1, but curious.
