OpenAI just released a new version of their AI image generating model so I jumped in and made a few quick images.
Prompt was a 1933 Double Gold Eagle in a display case at a coin show using this as a reference image
These two are ones I felt was the most photo realistic
This was my favorite liberty face 🤣
For fun, I plugged one of the images into Google Veo to generate this 8 second video clip

I'm very impressed, especially that I was able to talk to the model and have it alter specific parts while leaving others alone.

That’s really cool. Regarding what Phil pointed out about AI not reproducing the coin accurately, I found that if you cut and paste a real coin image over the AI image, you get both a beautiful background and the coin image is accurate. Here’s an older simpler example I made in the early AI days that I like to use as a background for real coin images just to illustrate what I mean (Only I threw in 2 fake AI coins in, just for fun)

Agreed... people could and do a lot of nefarious and bad stuff with AI
