    You can see the ump waving his arms signifying dead ball. It's a hit.

    Would be interesting if a fielder throws a ball to first for an out, and it winds up in the first baseman's jersey. Is the runner out, or is a glove/bare handed catch the rule.

    I'd guess the same call, dead ball, the runner is safe.

    its the Seattle Mariners the 2nd worse franchise in North American sports history, of course it is a hit. what shocks me is that the Athletics did not complete the sweep of the Seattle Mariners yesterday, although Munoz did his best to give it away in the 9th.

    Its another stupid rule in MLB. Its not any different than pinning a ball against your body or your leg making a catch.
