Who To Contact About Getting TrueViews Removed From a Cert Page

I hate that I have to ask this, but they really are that bad. I don't want them anywhere near the coin lookup.
One TV for example:

Quick corrections to fix these were as follows (two images because there were that many things to fix). If I took some time to fix them I'd imagine it would be more extreme. For reference, -0.25 exposure is about the most I have ever done to correct a coin image.

And my images for final comparison:

the photo department woud be the people. i don't think @PCGSPhoto is an active account anymore . PL used it
Man....your photos are 1000X better. You have some skills there, maybe PCGS should hire you to run their photography department!
Dont know who you should contact, but hopefully someone takes this seriously. Bad Trueviews = less auction $$. This affects the hobby and if PCGS offers professional photography, it should be professional!
PCGS had an incorrect photo for one of my coin's TV. I contacted the Customer Support via there online form. They eventually removed the image. https://www.pcgs.com/contactus
I called them first and they told me to use the link above. They stated they do not forward calls.
Good luck!

Yikes. That is a terrible tru view.
Hello PCGS, you have a problem in the True View department!

Ok, start with CS at PCGS. Sorry to be flippant but I tire of posts that throw out questions that are best answered by simply going directly to the source. May take longer but better IMO than involving hundreds of people, most of whom can only offer an opinion. Grant you, it is fun sometimes.
Understood. Unfortunately, while it might not be the case in this instance, quite a few forum members have expressed a lack of confidence that they’ll receive accurate information by going to the source. And/or, as you noted, that it will take longer.

Understood, but I would like to see more people try first and then say “I’ll be damned if I can get a straight answer, anyone got a contact or suggestion?”
PS I learned a long time ago not to call the IRS with tax questions.
@oldabeintx I disagree. I think what @FlyingAl asked for, ie a contact, is most reasonable. If I had a contact, it would take me perhaps 1 minute to type it and perhaps save him hours of frustration. If I don't have a contact, maybe someone else does. In this case it takes me no time at all to post (because I am not posting) and I might even note the contact for my use at sometime in the future. But, this is my opinion. You have your opinion and the fact they differ is definitely 100% OK with me.
Mark. Sure. Guess I was looking for an excuse to make my point and picked on Al. I stand by my general point, lots of posts that can be easily answered with a little effort. No patience in my old age.
I know for a fact PCGS customer service has been unresponsive to photography issues in particular.
I also know a few members here had success by contacting specific people within PCGS itself. I’d like to bypass the step of reaching out to customer service when I know it won’t work and get information from people who did have success.

Al. Got it. See my post re the IRS.
Love your work.
Could you edit the PCGS true-view image to include your pics instead? Then send it to PCGS and request they swap the photo? Not sure if they would do it, but might be worth a try!
If I were making such decisions for a grading company I wouldn’t start accepting outside images - no matter how wonderful - to host on my site under the company’s name.

Oh I most certainly could. I don't want to do that though.
Coin Photography
Your best bet is to work with PCGS to get them to edit the existing photo or replace it with an alternate on file (in the past, they have taken two different lighting shots of each coin).
The reality is the high-resolution coin image is an intrinsic "feature" to the PCGS Gold Shield holders. You can't just remove photos as it would harm a fundamental aspect of their Gold Shield product.
Nor can or should you be able to provide your own images, as Mark noted, for what I think are obvious reasons.
Nothing is as expensive as free money.
That's not the only area.
I hoped someone would step up after Phil left, but obviously not. I’m very disappointed in their latest attempts on my coins (like this one). My personal photography skills are better than this. I'm not sure about having pics removed but you can reach out to HY with customer service to see if the other pics of your coin are better but be forewarned, they could be worse.

A coin in a gold shield holder that doesn't have a trueview on the cert verification page could cause a potential buyer to take pause. PCGS should really take the coin back and reimage it themselves properly.
Al,
Do you have to show you submitted the coin (assuming customer service responds to this request)? I have a few coins I own that I would like to do this for, but I was not the submitter for them.
I appreciate that you asked the question.

This is a big problem. While I prefer the PCGS brand to the other TPGS, I have not and will not submit anything to them until they can present quality images again. I cant even begin to imagine how much business has been siphoned off to NGC, whose photos are now fantastic.

Hey there! Thanks for sharing the feedback. We want you to have the best TrueViews of your coins as possible, and we're sorry to hear the pictures aren't what you expected. I have sent you a direct message and look forward to hearing from you soon!
