Proof Walkers - Finally Complete!
I have always loved the Walking Liberty design. After I acquired my first proof Walking Liberty half several years ago, I decided to start working on that set. The first pass was in more modest grades, but slowly over time as I found really nice ones I have upgraded with the eventual goal to complete the set in matching blast white 67 or 67+. I found the last one I needed to upgrade (The 1936....) in a recent Great Collections auction, and the set is finally done!

Please share your proof walkers in celebration of this wonderful coin design.

Absolutely amazing set! I really would like to buy a proof walker of my own but my budget is quite a bit short (as I am only in high school) so instead, I will post my proof mercury dime!

That's a great set! I've never had a proof Walking Liberty half. I have that on my list though -- I'm coming close to what I see as the completion of my collection, and a proof Walker is one of the final US coins I want.
Very nice @humanssuck. 67 is a tough grade for a '36. If you ever want some images of them - I'd be happy to help!

Great Set
Congrats on completing the proof walking liberty half dollar set, they all look great…The 1936 looks amazing !
It's all about what the people want...

Absolutely amazing set!
You set the bar high with MS 67s, especially for the 1936!
I also like that they’re all stickered.
Believe it or not, I’ve never owned a Walker proof. I’ve thought about it a lot, but have used my resources on other series, since completing my business strike Walker set.
Maybe someday..,
Congratulations to you!! Very well done!! 👍

Here’s mine (will you sell me your gorgeous 1936, lol?):

@humanssuck, wonderful looking set of proof Walkers. The 1936 is phenomenal. And a green bean, 67 is in the stratosphere! My goal is similar to yours. I have 4 of the 7, am lacking the 2 remaining easier years(1940 &1941). And of course the most difficult and expensive 1936.

Here’s my progress so far…
Me too. In fact, I always thought it would be better to put national symbols on our coins (eg., Liberty, the Constitution) rather than historical people. But, strangely, the Mint has not sought my opinion.
You have a truly amazing set. Well done!
Well done!
It’s favorite set of mine. I don’t have a pic handy, but completed the set in 65 or better about 20 years ago, along with all of the other 1936-42 proof issues.
I’ve always thought proof Walkers were under-priced.
Thanks. I wasn't actually looking for CAC stickered coins, but it seems that most people are sending higher end coins to them as a default these days, so it just kind of happened that way that the ones I liked were all already stickered.
You have a gorgeous set Steve. I'd leave the 1936 to you in my will.....but since I'm almost half your age.....
Beautiful set! I regret selling my set!
Great coins, I like the way you started so far. Good luck!
Congrats on completing a fantastic set. I only have the 40, 41, and 42, and not in that kind of grade. I'll have to do something about that.

I've always liked the proof Walking Lib and Merc Dimes as value for the money, especially in PR-64/65 grades. Above that the prices start climbing, but you can get gorgeous coins relatively cheaply if you stick with the mid grade proofs.
Well done!
Every one a stunner. Congrats.
Great looking set @humanssuck
I have but one Proof Walker..

I know what you mean about liking the proof Mercs. too. One more to go on that set for completion for me.
Phenomenal!! Congrats! Looks like a very smartly curated set of high end coins.
I completed this set in PCGS CAC a couple years ago, although I did a matched set of coins with the hazy cellophane toning.
Most of the years were graded 66-67, although I upgraded one to 67+. I didn’t go big on the ‘36 but found a nice PR64 CAC.
Sadly I sold off the set last year, somewhat regrettably, but it’s healthy to prune the collection sometimes.

I did keep the highest graded coin to serve as my type example, this PR67+ CAC:

Nothing is as expensive as free money.
Excellent set! These are some of my favorite coins.

Congrats! That’s a great set you’ve put together. I’ve always loved the proof Walkers, though I haven’t yet owned one.
I have pictures of only two of my proof halves. And one of the pictures, the 1936, is a truly miserable TrueView. The actual coin is much prettier. Anyway, the 1936 is PR 67 and the 1939 is PR 67+ and CAC'ed. When I look at the difference in the pictures, I am stunned by how poor the current TrueViews can be.
