do not buy bags from the mint. the coins slide and bang against each other thus making them more beaten up than rolls
I was thinking of that! It's better to just have the Mint rolls to resell later in life.
You can go ask. I have tried several banks and was told that they could not order those dimes specifically. Any rolls I got would probably be older circulated rolls. If you get lucky, you might find a bank that received the new rolls.

This was a concern I have had. I asked the same question several years ago and it seemed the forum of the time said no real difference in quality. I have never bought a bag from the mint, just rolls, so I couldn't really say one way or the other.
I like the general pose, but Liberty's expression looks a mix of stoicism & resignation. Also too much in the way of inscriptions which is a general problem for all of this year's commem coins.
And the premiums for ANY of these is just too high, but nice try.
Love that Milled British (1830-1960) Well, just Love coins, period.
One day to go until the rolls and bags of 2026 Emerging Liberty dimes go on sale at the U.S. Mint. I have no clue whether they will sell out quickly or slowly, but good luck to all of you who plan to make a purchase.

Nice they're offering rolls of dimes, how come they never offer rolls of nickels? The obverse will have a dual-date,
but what of the reverse? Same old, same old? Everyone here agrees this new dime looks pretty nice, here's another look at the reverse.
And good luck tomorrow, the waiting room is being cleaned for you now!

Hoping I am wrong, but I believe these will be gone in less than 5 minutes.
The product limit for the 2 roll set is 12,000, with a HOL of 1. I'll log on and join the queue. . .if I get one, good for me, if not, c'est la vie. . .the ATS as of 8:00am ET is 11,375. . .ATS for the 200 coin bags is 7,455 (out of a PL of 8,000).
My phone, sucked all morning... Cloud fare issues, etc. Still locked in a waiting room for ever. My PC... was in and through the waiting room before release time, after release time no add to bag option, refreshed and stuck back into a waiting room with another 6 minutes still remaining. My ipad... Got in and out twice.
I logged out completely, and for you-know-what and giggles, logged back in, did that a few times to see if there was a waiting room. no waiting room until after grabbing a bag. Now, it shows a 15 min wait

That is my experience. No real issue.
Got my order in after waiting room.
My dad was only able to get a bag.

Are you doing anything different or special? How do you avoid waiting room?

I'm no IT genius, I just logged in at 11:55am, and it let me right in. Just got lucky, I guess.....and I'm still in the waiting room so I can simply get my order #'s
That was a freaking waste of time. I was in waiting room for less than 6 minutes and everything for the dime was sold out by the time I hit buy in less than a minute. This process truly sucks!
Waiting room process is terrible.
In the waiting room - released to the page at 11:59am.
Page has "remind me" that never changes at 12 noon.
Reselecting the 2 roll set page bumps you out to Wait room.
WTF
Not the way the process should work.
I dont know how others are successful - would be interesting to know what you do once released into the site at 11:59?

Well the alternative is to have it like it was before where the website just crashes and it's even more of a crap shoot whether you get one.

I do not see a potential for these but will try to get when they go on sale.

Just received mine in a black retro holder. First one I’ve seen in hand. A really striking coin. Going back to FDR will be a drag.
Roll sets already selling on ebay for $200 or more. Crazy.

I was in a waiting room for this coin, just got in.
Only 12,000 roll sets!
Only 8,000 dime bags!
In and out
seems not many people buy this one.
Agreed.....signed out and back in, no waiting room
Easy da pleaze!
Got one of each, in separate orders.
Decided to go back in and grab a bag, seeing how there's no wait
But NOW there's a 15 min wait for me, after grabbing the bag
Bags are now on BO.
I ordered already, but refresh give waiting room...
Bags were showing on backorder after 3 mins.
Ditto. Was logged in to my account at 8:45 PT. . .accessed the order screen a few ticks after 9:00
Once your in, I think it saves your spot, if you close your browser, back to the waiting room you go.
I'd think anyone in waiting room will be out of luck

I got in quickly but received a "household limit reached" error on both the bag and roll. Anyone else?
