1959 Topps Yogi Berra
I'm trying to find some nice 1959 Topps Baseball Hall of Famers in PSA 8 and I found this on EBAY. Maybe one of the worst PSA 8's I have ever seen. I read that PSA has more than one grader review each card so how did two graders think this was an 8?

Yikes!
I mean obviously the label speaks of a different era.
Graded in the long ago. Could be a WIWAG.
Both. Of the above
i would have got a 4.
If you examine the card above, the entire PSA holder is not visible in the photo, but you can see from the milky appearance and notches on the right side that it has almost definitely been popped open and the card replaced.
The link below is from 2003, and fits the possible narrative here.

Years ago a friend of mine and a high grade baseball card collector had a 1949 leaf PSA 7 purchased from wiwag. It looked like a 5. After the news hit , he sent the card to PSA and they sent back a PSA 7 that could have graded a 8. He paid maybe 1000 . Today . Maybe 6 figures. That was early 2000s.
1959…which card are you talking about?
I'm sorry, I forgot to write the players name. Satchel page .
