If you want good responses, you might want to provide a list the cards.

I am a little familiar with 1990-1991 OPC Premier. There are probably no cards in the set a dealer would be interested in. No matter the player, no matter the grade. Jagr and Fedorov seems to be the most valuable and SGC Mint examples usually don't sell for more than $60.00.

1993 Refractors can be worth a LOT, depending on who you have. Jordan and Griffey are big sellers.

Your best bet is to list the cards yourself on ebay. Dealers are not going to offer you much as they are interested in making a profit.

Probably not what you want to hear.

    Good luck with your sales.

what ever card shop is closest to where you live....

Consign them. Tons of options. They keep a small enough cut that the work you dont have to do makes it worth getting only 88 to 92% of the value of the card. Then if its a popular consignment dealer they may get 8 10 15 20% more than you would because people want to buy from an eBay seller they feel comfortable with and have had positive experiences with instead of buying from billybobscards with a feedback of 3.

There is also "Buy, Sell & Trade - Cards & Memorabilia" forum on this site. You might want to list your cards there.

Quickest way might be selling them to a local card shop, but you'll get about 70% of comps at best.

  • JoeBanzaiJoeBanzai Posts: 12,638 ✭✭✭✭✭

You have some really nice and valuable cards!

I would list them on ebay if you are looking for your biggest return.

If you are in a hurry, and insist on selling them all at once, you are going to take quite a beating on price. You haven't given a reason for wanting to sell, but taking your time here will make you a LOT MORE money!

I'm sure you could get Greg Morris cards to sell them for you. They seem to get good prices. Stay away from Probstein! He loses cards all the time.

Card shops are going to need to make a profit, that will be your worst place to sell money wise.

Again, good luck with whatever you decide!

Do you have a pic or scan of

    1969 TOPPS NOLAN RYAN # 533 ICG --9 MINT

It might be worth crossing over to a reputable grading company for that one. I would personally be wary of spending much for a card in a holder like that.

The Nolan Ryan's are off the Chart. You should get a premium for those. Don't take 70% on those.

Work hard and you will succeed!!

the 93 refractors of Ivan Rodriguez and Hershiser are 2 of the toughest cards in that set. they may really surprise you if you let them run at auction. all it will take are 2 or 3 set collectors that need one of those and it will be off to the races.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

Those are beautiful! I'd hate to give those up. they would be among the last of my meager collection that I would give up. Nice eye for quality.

Have you measured the 1969 top/bottom? It's hard to assess from a picture but the top and bottom borders look a little thin to these old eyes.

    Again beautiful cards!

Why do the above eBay auction links not match the card descriptions?

An ebay "improvement" is now if you click on a link for something that's sold it substitutes an ongoing item instead. If you click on a psa 10 nolan ryan rookie it might try to sell you a BVG 2 nolan ryan 1992 card instead. You see there's really no difference and you would rather see the one you DIDN'T come looking for.

A couple days ago I clicked on a link for a 71 pirated world series ticket that was sold and it got replaced by a Pink Floyd concert ticket. I sure was tempted!
