EXPRESS or REGRESS!!???

Am I the only one to notice, or are others seeing PCGS hedging actual time packages are signed for, and then sometimes over a week later, the submission shows up as in process!!?? And when it shoes up, it does not show up as the actual date PCGS signed for the package, but the date they finally got around to inputting the submission... This appears to have been going on for years and they are getting worse at it...Sent a package with several submissions inside the box, one of which was an EXPRESS Submission. Per PCGS, wrote in big block letters on the back and front of the package "EXPRESS". PCGS signed for the package this past Monday, the 9th of March, 2026. It is now Friday afternoon the 13th of March, 2026 and nothing has been noted on my inbound submissions!???
Their NEW & IMPROVED submissions page has DELETED the "FIND MY PACKAGE" program so you are no longer able to check on any packages!! Additionally, asked about my submissions and the deletion of the Find My Package button by clicking on the survey button on the top of the page this past Wed and nobody at PCGS has responded... Am I surprised!!???
I would think submissions should be loaded into PCGS's database in a timely manner, especially if you sent an EXPRESS submission and are paying the extra $$$ for an expediated experience!??

while i feel "members" and dealers must get equal treatment, the turnaround time for the disrespected "members" varies by workload. the current estimated turnaround time is 15 days on express. expect a little leeway for "members."

what's unclear to me is if that is from received or in process. the logical one is in process.

so you are not yet near 15 + a couple days. i'd wait until day 20 to be raising a small stink on it all.

I'm dealing with another grading service that charges me for shipping on their account when it is shipped on my FedEx account, and similar overcharges, and don't refund me when requested. Unfortunately for whatever reason people may not have the incentives to expedite orders that you pay a big premium for.

I used to be able to ship gold coins to NGC on Monday on their gold rush tier and would get them back on Saturday via usps express. $20 or so a coin and less than $30 for return shipping when usps had corporate express accounts.

Unfortunately, those days are gone... Now, I just feel lucky to have my package arrive at the destination, and not stolen! Late last year, sent an Express Mail Legal Flat to PCGS and it never made it... Went missing (Stolen) at the Westchester Mail center, Inglewood airport area. One of the coins is very identifiable; a Spanish One Peseta Francisco Franco dated 1947 Star 48 which has a very strong Obverse Hub Doubled Die; this coin appears to be a "Discovery Coin" as I cannot find such in any World catalogue in the US or Spain. The coin was a nice uncirculated piece.

Believe it or not, the 'Find My Package' page still exists on the PCGS "My Account" App.

I searched everywhere on the PCGS Website via PC, nowhere to be found.

Just use the mobile APP for 'FMP'.................hopefully PCGS will leave that feature intact.

Of 41 posts (thank god it's not 12k), which is 3 threads and 38 comments, I make it 51% complaints (21/41) although all three threads started are complaints. I entered the 38 comments into ChatGPT and it came up with the same conclusion as I did.

Whereas for numis1652, if one counts his recently deleted "How will the Iran conflict affect numismatics?" thread, he is only at 73% complaints (8/11) unless you count the two deceased notifications as "complaining" about death in which case he is 10/11.

I don't want to count numis' posts by hand but I had ChatGPT analyze them also. I would lose my bet!

For my pedantry? Or for being a disagreeable old crank?

If the second, I'm not sure if PCGS can afford the server space to give out enough electronic awards given the quantity of disagreeable old cranks in numismatics.

    R. Rocket was thinking something along the lines of a special badge for the cranky codger disagreeable methuselah type of collector.
A side quest would be awarding members with quality pedantry posts (those with an ostentatious ability to argue the finest points of a thread), a sixth star.
Red doesn't believe though should PCGS implement these suggestions he be given special treatment. He humbly (as always) offers these ideas only as a way of improving these forums and thus don't need the recognition.

To be fair, avid students of MODERN English language have to allow for pronoun preferences, non-binary identities, and even plural identities. We haven't asked Red what their preferred pronouns might be or their possible non-binary or plural identification.
